Just got mine a couple weeks ago.. already put 3k miles on it 😅 (total is 19.2 now got it at 16). I have been loving the performance package, I’ve been going through RU-vid finding any niche features that I may have not known about. This video was great thanks!
The truck is nice but the gauges are absolutely the worst from any manufacturer! Bar graphs with numbers in the middle!! Really??!!! Can't figure out how to design instruments? The easiest to read are pure analog gauges! It can certainly be digital version of analog gauges and many manufacturers have them - from Honda to Lamborghini! Ford needs to fire their entire design team that came up with this dumb idea of these bar graphs! Don't have a clue - just COPY what Honday or Lamborghini has and be done with it!!!
Interesting. I basically modified my orp to address some of the issues brought up in your video. I like the pro version though, but that sub takes away a great storage nook in the back which I use for permanent stuff. Otherwise, I like the new pro. Great truck. Had four of them over the years. Cheers. 👍🤪🏳️🌈
I didn’t buy my 3rd gen Tacoma trd 4x4 off road for mpgs. I bought it for its versatility and dependability. After installing rock sliders (160lbs) and retractable bed cover (80 lbs), I’m getting 17-18 on streets and 24-26 on highways.
Looking at 2021 TRD Pros and the prices are pretty nuts...or is this the norm for this beauty of a beast? 52k miles and asking $57k. Another one is 72k miles and asking $51k.
I come back to this vid now and again, it's just a solid, thoughtful, informative video. Another question. Which do you think would have a smoother, quieter, long distance highway drive, the Platinum with powerboost and levelled on 35's, or the Raptor on 35's? I wonder if the Raptor's springs would still be more buttery smooth and quiet than the Platinum with its max luxury seats and rear leafs even if the shocks were upgraded on the Platinum front and rear, any thoughts, experience? Oh, and you said you can't park it in most garages, I assume you mean at private homes, but as for public garages, what is the height of the Raptor? I ask because a common public garage entry height such as at many hotels or lodges is 7' or a bit more.
I've just bought a 23 Raptor with 37 package. It does not ride anything like a regular F-150. Comfort is on a different level. No, you won't get all the 50 way adjustable seats and max recline seats, but the onroad comfort of the Raptor is superior to regular F-150s. I can drive 6-7 hours at a time without getting any fatigue. You can park in most garages if they're 7ft tall. My Raptor is on 37s so it's a bit taller than the regular 35s, but I can fit in 7ft garage with no problems. The antenna doesn't touch the ceiling. Hope this helps!
I am getting a new 2023 from out of state. Its package and features are the same as yours. Your review and comments are very helpful. "To infinity and beyond!" 😄
Just bought a black 2022 Gen 3 with 18,000 miles; waiting for it to be delivered from the dealer in Ohio! Chomping at the bit waiting for it to get here!!
These things don’t even have seat height adjustment! I’m actually going to slap the next person who buys one or says anything good about this truck. IJS.
I'm trying to turn off the DRL on my 2019 Forerunner limited. It has a different screen and I can't find the option for this. I need my DRL to remain off in my "auto" position as it is causing my moose lights relay to burn out. My moose lights are tied into the high beam wire and it's not pulling enough power, (flickering) when in the dimmer DRL mode. Is there a way to shut off my DRL when in auto position?
The similar 3.5 L ecoboost engine on the Ford GT has 660 hp and 550 lbs of torque. I'm sure there's various reasons and I'm no engineer but why can't the ecoboost on the Raptor produce the same numbers?
I bought my 2023 Tundra SR5 crew max, 6.5' bed in May 2023. I have 19,800 miles on it. No issues at all. drove 11,831 on a cross country road trip and averaged 21.7 miles for the trip.
I got my first truck in July of 2022. It is a Taco TRD off-road. love it so far, just took it in snow yesterday , kind of icy area. forgot to pop it in 4hi at first and slid a little bit, boy was my wife pissed, lol. now I know to hit that 4hi next time. going again soon.
Goddamn....you beautiful son of a bitch! I just got a '23 Tacoma and have been looking at it and there were things on there I didn't realize came with it. Very happy. Just wanted the remote start(and a winch+brush guard).
and the Ram is priced at 20k more….also has702 vs 720 hp in the raptor. Both great trucks - just personal preference. I’d go with the new Raptor R over Ram ‘s current offering - oh yeah, they are no longer offeringTRX after 2024anyway
I have this truck I do love it but I hate the fact that I have no native navigation system 😂I can’t use CarPlay unless I have a cord plugged in at all times making my wireless charger mount just halfway useless i just got this truck too I hear the company behind r tune no longer works with Toyota and if there is a way to get a native app without having to connect my phone through a cord to use Apple CarPlay that’d be awesome to know. And does anyone else have issues with their backup camera grid lines ? Mine don’t move when I turn the wheel and idk why
I’m looking at getting tacoma, how many miles can I expect to get out of a tank? I just drive to work and back on average so I’m hoping a tank of gas will last me at least a week. From my house to work is about a 20 minute drive through the city.
It will absolutely NOT work unless you are paying for the app and the service. When the free trial for the app expires, our commie trucks will also no longer start with the fob. Shame on you Toyota
Came across your video tried it on mine and it works (Awesome) my questions are is there a distance thing and do you have to be in front of the Tacoma thank you
Great video. I just bought a 2023 3rd Gen F 150 Raptor Oxford White w/ Black Interior. I liked the video because you showed me how to operate the many functions! I do have a question. When I back up a trailer and put it in reverse, a solid beep warning goes off. On my 2019, I could shut it off with a yes/no option. I cant figure out how to shut the back up warning off on the 2023
