It‘s a cool lil‘ Jazz Guitar to me. I just gigged with it a couples of time even in a bigger band setting with horns. It has a cool smooth vibe for many styles. I only had to adjust the height of the bridge and now it plays perfectly!
Great video!! But I wish you showed how you get your signal. I’m using my torpedo captor and i’d like to use dual cabs in genome, but I can’t make it work, I only get one processed signal through the cabs, the other cab is not. How do I make it work? Hope that made sense. I’m also using logic. Thanks!
You should just be able to bypass the cab sim/DynIR section of the Captor and just run the amps dry signal! On my Torpedo Live I can just bypass everything and I’m pretty sure you can do that on the Captor too…is it the Captor X you are using?
does the FLAMMA FC05 also come with the white and black wires that you have attached in this video as a package, or do you have to order it separately?
I really like them. Ordered a Tonex One a few days ago it should be here pretty soon. I’ll add this. The fender captures from AmpGem seem like they would be great as well.
The sounds with the drive way down are very useful I was hoping to find out about the two outputs; mine is so chipped I can’t read what’s written there . I think one says “Speaker” which is silly because it couldn’t drive a literal speaker.
@@johnmalcolm9980 it’s a speaker emulated output…I think the idea is that for recording you run the normal output into your amp and the “speaker” output straight into your interface and then bland the two to taste
Crazy that all online versions look like this, black and red, but Ali Express has silver body instead of black, so Im confused if they have the real thing or a replica
This series of amps seems interesting! For the full video, I'd love to see how the clean channel handles heavy fuzz pedals. Also Gabor, how would you say this thing is voiced in general, is it more American or more British sounding to you?
Hey, this is going to sound maybe not nice so I'd really like to say, I enjoy your content. But the "clean sounds" portion of the video is so so far from a clean sound. I wish you would review this stuff through an actual mic'd Deluxe Reverb or Princeton Reverb for example, and then do the emulated stuff?
I was really surprised at how much output those pickups had…I’ll definitely do more with it with a much cleaner sound! I usually always leave all my amps on the same setting so you can kinda hear the difference between the guitars, and I do usually like a slightly pushed clean…but no other guitar of mine pushed the amps clean channel into that much overdrive
the SQR active pickups could be swapped out easily for EMGs via their direct plug-in system. Connections looked compatible last ones I had. comparison videos possibly ? Wonder if difference is negligible. I had a contemporary strat & I didn't bond with them, & especially not the Floyd Rose-y bridge. (Was I ever in tune? I don't know😒)
Hi. I’ve had an eye on one of these for a little while now, so stoked to see this bad boy in your thumbnail 10 mins back. 👍👍 Wondering how much hotter the pups are compared to something like the J Mascis (which I also own)… cheers.
This guitar looks really good. But I don't like the active pickups. It's not expensive, but I would change the pickups. The Seymoure Duncan Black Winter humbuckers would be much better for me... This could be a good guitar for rock and more heavy sounds, with other strings in a low tuning... I will try a Starcaster next week... A friend and I are visiting a big guitar store... 😊🤘
Dearest Sir: Is it "Amp-->Two Notes"OPUS"-->Loadbox-->Speaker OR...............................Is it "Amp-->Loadbox-->OPUS-->Speaker? And finally what jacks use (speaker cable)?? Thank you so much for your help in advance because I am "dead in the water" ntil i know the safe way to cable this
If you have an actual guitar speaker/cabinet connected then you don’t need a load box…you go from the speaker output of the amp with a speaker cable to the “from amp” input on the opus and then from the “to speaker” output with a speaker cable to you guitar speaker/cabinet! That way you put the speaker simulation of the opus between your amp and cabinet so you can use the speaker emulation from the opus PLUS you will also hear your actual cabinet/speaker! If you don’t want a an actual guitar cabinet/speaker attached, so you will only hear the cabinet simulation from the opus, then you can either go from the speaker output on your amp with a speaker cable to a load box and then from there with a normal guitar cable to the opus OR you can go for from the speaker output of your amp with a speaker cable to the “from amp” input of the opus and then from the “to speaker” output with a speaker cable to the load box! I hope that makes sense
I would very likely grant this guitar to all who cannot afford an expensive Rickenbacker, it gives the Byrds sound for more than half the price. I am for that reason also very pleased with my Hagström Viking DLX12.
thanks for the demo - the one i am waiting for a demo of is the Rowin LN-318 TOP Guitar Booster Pedal please do a demo of this you will be the first one to do it
I prefer to run into splitter box, into the pedal, out of left out into time based and modulation effects then into interface for wet. Out of splitter box into interface for dry.
