I have started all over again, uploading fishing videos on RU-vid as my old channel has unfortunately been hacked.
I love sharing my fishing trips, as well as handy tips to help you catch the fish you always wanted. Fishing is a passion and I want to connect with like minded fisherman and fisherwoman around the country, as well as the world, to share things we have in common and share the knowledge of this great hobby.

I have found that the double loops are fine as an end of line knot for the sinker, but for mid rig use they create a weakness below the knot. If you do a miscast where line snags on rod or reel the rig will snap at that double loop resulting in the loss of your sinker
Hey mate can you find bloodworms in the Georges River ? BTW mate , did you have a old youtube channel when you were bit younger ? The name was Michael can't remember the last name but starts with P . I use to learn alot from them videos just wondering if that was you.
Hi mate, you can get bloodworms in the river but it’s illegal to dig them out from the mangrove beds. I used to have an old RU-vid account which I don’t have access to anymore.
@@aft-fishing90 Legend ! Yeah mate I learnt alot from them old video's of yours. Good to see your videos again. I see, fair enough. Tried to get some squirt worms yesterday at chipping Norton lake around the boatshed all the way to agnes healy beach but couldn't find em anywhere. Need to explore a bit more the lake a bit more.
@ryandobermann6651 the last time I managed to get good numbers of Squirt worms was before the 2022 floods. After the floods much of the upper reaches was washed out. In the lower parts around Picnic point should have a few good spots to pump them out.
Great Video! Question, I took my '09 Camry to the dealer, scanned for codes since the VSC light and check engine light had come on before. Couldn't get it to stay on at the dealer, but they ran the codes history and noticed a knock sensor was faulty . Do you think that could be related and a cause for the VSC light to come on or is that a different issue?
My vcs and check engine light been on for 3 weeks now, My inspection is due at the end of july. Ughh, I really don't have a lot of money to get it fixed. May I ask you how much did toyota charge to tell you which coils were bad?
Good stuff, i dont normally catch herring there, i target the mullet. But i feeeze them up for cut up chunks as later use for the salt fishies. Best bait by far. And yes, i habe used herring bits in saltwater. Seems for me, to work better after rain in salt rivers.
@aft-fishing90 yep. I've been thnk of heading out in the morning, grab a few livies, put them in aerator bucket, get a few bottles of river water for change, then race off to parsely Bay, anchor up on outgoing tide, lob them out, sit back and wait for the big fishies.
Met mike on the south coast a few days ago using these tips in real life...amazing knowledge and he was catching some big southern calamari! Gave me some great tips on basic fishing :)
Thank you, doing this is a constant reminder how blessed I am to catch these fish. It’s not often I catch one but when I do I want to do anything I can to have a piece of it as a memory.

It’s past the caravan park, dirt track you turn right into from the main road. It leads you to the lake. Although the caravan park owners do lock the gate at times but my go to spot would be turning right into a semi dirt road, this is before you reach the dam wall. You drive down a hill and get to a bay, caught plenty there.
Most believe Squid venture out far away from the rocks in moderate swells like this but I’ve noticed they like a bit of choppy water. If any rock ledge you fish off looks dodgy with the swell don’t risk it but finding a protected spot is much safer to fish from.
