Structure and the main idea is not quite clear , video is too far for understanding details, and i think it is not suitable for small ones ,need weight
I like it but why did you weld the handle how to you clean it instead of a threaded union would of worked with a nylon locknut next no way to adjust the thickness and no plunger in the tube to push the onion into the blade
Idea of using bearings is tempting, but you really need to be careful with this kind of ideas. It's VERY dangerous as bearing steel is so hard that it's brittle and it will crack without warning and it's not question of if that happens, it's about when it happens, it'll shoot incredible sharp shards of metal everywhere. It will virtually explode. So if making something like this, wear at minimum full face shield and thick overalls, trust me. This has two potential accidents to happen. When you're bending and leaning at force and when it gives suddenly you're about 100% guaranteed to hit yourself something and at worst case you might at the same time get those sharp shards.
DuDe: 'you need to Safety Up cool use of old parts. I have a tin can full of different bearings I come across little bicycle wheel bearings and larger car axle bearings I know what my new project will be thanks
