This channel is dedicated to video games (Sometimes cats) mostly video games. Looking currently into the rogue-lite/like/adjacent genre, but others are likely to follow.
I had run like you yesterday. 9 scanners by lvl 9... both cryo and HE with tripple split mining. Eventually i had to lean heavy into move speed. By stage 3 i was clearing every single block on the map Took 0 damage upgrades It was godly... after stage 5 or 6 i could not spend my nitra in the shop if i tried Ended up with about 800 nitra at the start of stage 10 So much reload as well . 0.3 and 0.35 Was insane I found out for mining, cryo is way better, it throws in front of you HE is trash, because it always trows behind you
They've changed HE recently, HE pre-summer patch would throw regardless of bugs being around, which I thought made it pretty good (for mining only), but that has 100% changed. And yah, Cryo with all the radius too, have about 25-30% more than HE as standard and it really stacks up. Scanner runs are really fun this patch butttttt, I think they need a rebalance. Maybe too strong, getting lots in 10 deep dives feels almost required for maximum fun.
I noticed that as well. The HE don't throw unless they're is bugs. It 100% used to throw all the time Ohhhh The issue i ran into with my mining build... was the acid. It was killing every thing on screen so fast, that my mining grenades were not going off enough. First world problems
@@FswithFarhamI don't play that often. And only a couple hrs at a time. But looking at steam, I some how have 250 hrs on this game Only 110 on Pal world which I play with my GF. could sware I had way more on that game. And the whole reason I bold my PC high end, was to play Cyberpunk... but only have 30 hrs. Lol
Enemy creature with a mirror, reflecting the lazer beam back on to the dome! At that point I thought you were doomed, maybe auto lazer was not a good thing! I thought the game was NICE, your edit additions were fun.
There's a lot of time floating up and down the shaft. Edits were necessary I think. Might try a shorter less edited run later in the week. I quite enjoyed it.
Having never played a card based game, it took me quite some time to fully understand what was going on! I felt the game flowed better and better as you became more competent with your decision making! I can see why you enjoyed this game and I think I would too!
Need to sit down and plot in excel, the sweet spot for squint-ees. For different given base damage numbers aswell, since it definately scales better with high base damage weapons.
You know I think someone did actually do that some time ago on the official discord. i'll have to have a dig about. I find it much less impactful on the 10 deep dives for sure, sometimes even feels like it takes away.
@@FswithFarham i give up, wolframalpha does not want to help me with this, should be something like this for all base damage ≥16 curve1:[y=((16+z)*(1.05+(f/100))(2+(g/100))] curve2:[y=((16+z)(0.7)(1.35+(f/100))(3+(g/100))] find z,f,g where curve1>curve2 Where z is base damage in whole numbers, not percent, f is cc and g is cd
Some new enemies that respond differently like the rolly boys or flappy boys wouldn't go amiss, I agree. And some rebalancing on the 10 deep dives, 10 artifacts is at least 3 too many. Guess I'll have to start doing no artifact/one weapon runs to add to the spice again.
Very good live streem, H E Grenade weapon mastery complete, just one weapon to go! I don't know how you can concentrate whilst talking about all manner of subjects, but you can, and credit to you!😊
Hey Fs with Farham! Sorry to post here - I don't want to be spammy here on your Thronefall video comments. I was wondering if there's potentially a good way to contact you (potentially e-mail?) about something related to defense game stuff. No worries if not (feel free to delete this if you're not cool with asking this sort of thing here!)
Proper way to test this would be weapon mastery. In both runs use identical % potency & % reload speed. That way the results of stacks should be max meaningfull.
im confused now... why does acid stacks in shorter time (last weapon) but did less damage? what could be the reason for that? Or woud it be more damage, when it was the first weapon (more time to deal damage)?
That might be one for a livestream after a nice beer. All the clues are there lurking around behind me. Wish I'd started about 10 years ago though, really enjoying it.
I was hearing a strange noise in the background, was it the Lock One? Dwarf with flowers, Lenny Henry, the FBI and the KGB all great additions. Good run to watch, there was a bit more clarity than some of your recent ones!!🤣🤣
Was probably the Lok-1 yes. I did turn the sound of it up a couple of times, sounded like a double bass drum. The whole run was basically to show off the silly sound it makes.
Hey, thanks for playing our game! I had a lot of fun watching the video hahaha! Love the edits. And I'm really glad that you enjoyed playing it! There is a lot more content to come in the future :)
Oh fuck, the dynamic one 6 minutes in. Where I left the black edge in... I meant to go fix that... Yes, but it wasn't WMM giving me trouble, it was just general incompetence on my part. Think I'll stick to snap zooms, the dynamic ones I just... don't like at all.
@@ddew Oh shit, did I do I really bad and leave it zoomed in.... I might have to re-upload. That would have been. Record movie compress Get screenshot for thumbnail Re-record becasue compression was on wrong setting Leave zoomed in for re-record... 42-26 minutes, I see it... Good catch, thank you... I'm new here? xD
Indeed, going to be taking a look at a couple of other games and trying to mix in videos about "other". Slay the Spyre was something I missed out on when it released, might take a look.
Potency increases the number of stacks added per hit of that weapon. Status effect damage increases the damage per stack per status effect hit. Fire does a lot of damage. Acid does not so much Lightning does really not much So Status Effect and Potency full damage builds mostly work best with fire.
Charming! Like the minimalistic style. Iconography reminds me of Bad North, Tetris tiles of Emberward but since I'm not big on maze builders went for a round of CD 2 Trap Master midvid;o) Banter and Gifs had me chuckle, thx
Glad you got a laugh, I enjoyed the demo must say. Was a good 4 hours enjoyment there. Some of the games on sale for the next few days are looking quite appealing I must say...
Watching this game, it looks as if the idea is to prep for battle and then just watch the consequences? You did mention leveling up other towers, would that be whilst the battle is in progress? Also you mentioned finding the game difficult to achieve victories innitially, this is obviously a good thing, would this be down to the card RNG options?
You can build and place towers while the battle is going on, but I was busy talking nonsense at those moments. Just level up the towers whenever you have the gold, although I found building a fort shape first the best thing to do, then spend the last 6 or 7 waves just upgrading everything. Quite a lot of power locked behind all those cards I showed at the start, needed some of those to make the archer/frost towers better, took 5 or 6 runs to get the first couple of tiers unlocked.
Yes, you can multi-crit. So 200% Crit, 300% Multi would be 600% damage. At the end, you'll notice you do more fire/electrical/acid damage than the numbers shown against the weapons. The difference between the weapon total, and the totals at the bottom are your elemental dot damage.
