REVERSE BULLET HELL, WITH MINING
Kill bugs, upgrade your gear, and delve ever deeper into the lethal caves of Hoxxes. Collect and assemble a devastating array of guns, unleash hell upon wave after wave of alien monsters in fast and frenetic combat, and tunnel your way to collect precious riches from deep within the cave walls. Each mission is unique, using procedural cave generation and enemy waves, just as you've come to know from Deep Rock Galactic.
COMPLETE MISSION OBJECTIVES TO BECOME STRONGER
Delve deep, Miner! Once the Drop Pod releases you into the oppressive darkness, you are on your own. Complete the mission objectives set forth by the Company, and make it back to the Drop Pod in time to try your luck at even more deadly and lucrative encounters. Progress deeper and deeper into the planet while you grow ever stronger, survive all the way to the very end of your assignment, and finally get extracted alongside your hefty sack of loot.

Aww, Deepcore PGL is one of my favorite weapons. It does struggle a lot early though, but I've had a lot of success with it.

It does get going once you have it Akimbo, but for the investment compared to Fire/Cold/Acid grenades, always just feels in the way :(

Plasma rifle with cold is my favorite combo, closely followed by fire Leadburster. But somehow bouncy balls make me go “ohhhhh”

I disagree with the Subata, it pairs pretty well with acid guns, and i think the fact it shoots behind you is a benefit, because you can actually hit stuff while mining. I would put it in Edgers tier.

I think compared to other light weapons it just doesn't do as well, and it's activation range is super short which I think I forgot to mention. Few people have felt I mis-categorized the Subata though, maybe it's my implicit bias to butt guns coming through.

Nice! IMO only S-tier weapons are the Thunderhead and Plasma Carbine. Nothing else deserves to be in the same tier as they ramp up too slow. Maybe the Warthog but your not guaranteed to get plasma. Also majorly disagree with you on the acid weapons, Subatta and K1P are definitely A-tier, they do alot of damage even without levels. Also Axes with Acid overclock is aren't THAT bad even though they have also ended my runs before - at least they do decent damage. But all in all pretty much agree.

M1000 Thick Boy not in your top 3 at least? :O Maybe I was harsh on the Acids slightly but the butt gun is a butt gun.. The Acid on the ground from the grenades just always feels juicy. The drones are good for sure, but not A-Tier I don't think (I think I put them on par with cold) Yes yes, I feel bad about the axes... They don't deserve to be with the shock drones, nothing deserves to be with them! XD

@@FswithFarham Nah for me its not even top 5. Its fun! But it sucks to keep getting firerate cards when you know you are going thickboy. Also the shottie overclock is clearly better. Its just a jank weapon that needs 18 levels to finally be really strong when other weapons have that much earlier.

Fire rate cards, indeed I think I mentioned as the only thing that was a bit lame about it. I think you can make it work from level 1 though, the shots are chonky, just need to do some bug herding action.

@@FswithFarham i'd say axe is pretty good as support weapon early on. Fire overclock is really good for level 6 weapon. It has trash scaling, literally abysmal but it is one of better level 6 weapons in the game. I don't think i'd put as bottom tier weapon. I would also argue that too many weapons are too high in list. I think best 3 weapons in the game regardless of who you play are Cryo grenade, Flame turret and Plasma Cabine. These 3 weapons are far and beyond any other weapon in the game in my opinion. I also disagree with your analysis on flame turrets. they scale off every stat. they scale off life-time, beam life-time, damage, reload, potency +1 beam and mining. the turret outdamage every single weapon in the game even without mining overclock with +1 beam and follow turret. Mining overclock just makes stacking +1 beams easier because it can more easily be abused through gold scanners and nitra scanners.

@@dodang_9147 Actually yes, I was harsh on the axe. We did a 10 deep dive with it the other day levelling no other weapons, the fire OC is very very good. Cryo grenade I feel lacks killing speed, although I would easily put it as the very best grenade. I am still in the camp that damage cards on the Krak are just a waste. The base damage is just terrible. They can easily stack up to 50-60k potency ticks in seconds, but the damage they do to do that would only ever be 1-2k. I just don't think it's the play.
