Congratulations 🎉 Smart to go through CNA program to get school reimbursed. I did the dialysis and then to LPN, RN, ended with MSN all debt free. I'd suggest going through community college also. If you need it fast and can't go through community college use WIOA. There are so many resources for those interested in nursing ❤
CNAs are so underappreciated so underrated I remember when I was a CNA at the VA one here in Texas I organize a CNA walkout 3-day workout if I tell you the nurse managers and the nurses was calling in while we went there just wanted to show them that we're needed and we are important some nurses have gotten away from bedside nursing nursing 101 which is what CNAs do were there to assist the nurse the license nurse that's our job certified to assist you in taking care of your patient depending on the attitude of the nurse there were many nurses I had to tell when you're ready to clean Mr Smith you let me know and I'll assist you because that's my job to assist you in your bed bath and cleaning Mr Smith and you can write it up I'll sign it and I would never Bend when I would have to act like that because I knew Hospital policies my job is to assist you not to do it all nursing begins and starts and stops at the bedside not with your clipboard and your computer and it don't take long to pass your meds
Hello 👋… thanks for the amazing videos. Actually am new just finished my nursing assistant course few days ago. Had some few questions. Would mind answering them to me if possible?
I'm currently in my sophomore year/starting nursing school properly and your vlogs make me inspired and also motivate me to stay even when it is looking difficult ❤. Thank you so much for all you do and keep on being you ❤
Found your channel a couple of days ago it's been very insightful and relaxing to watch your journey. I'm currently in community college working towards the Nursing Program. Next week I start my first clinical for CNA I'm excited but also nervous. Can't wait to see more updates on your channel and best of luck on your process!
We need your assistance we are in Uganda but we want to come to America to work as care giver's or CNA job Want advice or agency in order to come over to America to start working. Help us 🙏🤝
Three years as a CNA at a Nursing home. Ya’ll!!! The struggle is real! Census everyday was about 15 to 1 CNA. Most of the time, half of the patients are totals! CNAs in nursing homes don’t last long.
Is the course super intensive? I’m a business student right now but I kind of had a change of heart for nursing. I was thinking of doing CNA to see how I fare in the field but idk if I would be able to balance my business classes with cna?
I’m in business school but lately I’ve been interested in healthcare and nursing, I’m not sure what I want to do after college and maybe becoming a cna will give me a good idea if it’s right for me :) thanks for the video
i’ve been a cna for about 4 months now (still haven’t taken my state exam yet but coming soon!) and honestly seeing all of these comments complains about have 12-14 patients to themselves makes me very optimistic for when i ultimately leave the nursing home i work for bcs i have on average 18 or more patients a day (some total care, some hoyer, some mostly independent) this is the only place i’ve worked since becoming a cna so i’m shocked to see this isn’t a normal workload for one person but it also tells me that once i do go i will have a more manageable patient load which is good bcs i’m used to the heavy stuff so the regular patient loads will seem very light to me

Thank you for this video! I am starting my CNA class next month God willing 💖🫶 I just want to share that God loves you so so much ❤️ the bad news is we have all sinned by breaking His commandments (worshiping other false gods, making idols, taking the Lords name in vain, not keeping the Sabbath, dishonoring parents, murder, adultery, stealing, lying, coveting, and more.) Sin is the reason we die and it is makes us deserving of punishment in hell. But God loves us so much that He sent Jesus His Son, who is One with God, so that we can be saved through Him. Jesus died on a cross and was treated terribly. He died to pay for our sins in our place. Jesus is sinless, He gave Himself as the sacrifice for us. Jesus rose from the dead on the third day, defeating death 🙌 John 3:16 in the Bible says “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” If anyone repents and places their faith in Jesus, they will be saved 💕💕 repent means to have a change of mind; we realize we have done evil against God, which leads to turning away from sin and turning to Jesus ✝️ when we place our faith in Jesus we trust that He died for our sins and rose again, we trust in Him alone for our salvation and as Lord 🩷 the Bible is Gods word; the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John in the Bible have Jesus’s teachings on how to follow Him, His amazing miracles, the death He dies to save us through Him, and His resurrection 🩷🩷 God bless you!
Hello! I'm an IT graduate and ever since I was a kid, I wanted to work in the healthcare field. I want to become a CNA. Do you guys have an idea how I can become one? Is it still possible to switch career?
Be prepared however for the other CNA to hog the cart and trash can. I can't believe how selfish these people can be. I have to walk all the way to THEIR rooms for a sheet because they take the cart with them. Totally entitled jerks. So many of them. I don't know about glycolic acid four times a shift. I do like to use it but not that much. Holy cow! But if it works for you that's great! It saved me from breakouts as well.

Wish I did. But my program uses scenarios and mock charting sheets to give the students opportunities to practice counting and recording fluids, documenting VS, and things like that. As much as we can to allow them to practice the skill and mimic electronic documentation. You're in the age of technology, if you can work on a computer and know how to achieve basic computer tasks, you'll quickly learn how to chart don't worry 😊❤
@@rhythmd9691 That’s so cool wish mine did haha. I’ve been at my first CNA job for about 2 weeks now though and luckily charting is pretty simple there
I was a CNA (PSW we're called in Canada) for 10 years. I've been out of it for 6 years, working as a coordinator in the corporate/housing/shelter world. I have been offered a CNA position at one of our hospitals with an amazing reputation. I've never worked in a hospital and was always in long term care. Is the hospital setting better? I always wanted to work in the hospital and feel it is very different from LTC. <3 great video!
