I wonder how Kurt would stack this up with The Contagion Chronicle from Chronicles of Darkness (NWoD 2.0). It’s a really cool setting and campaign, but needing all the fat splats and their knowledge for the zoo game is only for the truly committed with much time and wallet. I definitely understand the appeal of a single volume!
Hej, after 20 years i am getting back into Witchraft and Armageddon, and to get back into the mood i watching all kinds of videos. Unfortnatly, there isnt really that much info out there for that great RPG. Do you happen to know where you get the Information about Loki from?
Welcome to Iron Crown. Role Master was unplayable as written--you had to house rule the living hell out of it to make it workable. I played it for years and it led to me making my own game. Anyway, good review, new sub!
It took me a long to time to figure it out, but i finally realized that players trying to use one approach for everything is actually the intent. The act of justifying it IS the game. This game isnt a simulation, it is guided collaborative story making. As long as your character acts as in a manner consistent with their character, they will be mechanically rewarded with a higher chance of success.
These are some great factions-especially the good guy ones. I love how modular they are. While the bad guys sound pretty locked into Delta Green and the Cthulhu Mythos, the 3 benign groups could easily slit into virtually any modern game-horror, urban fantasy, low-to-mid Sci-Fi, etc.
Thank you for creating this video I know its an older video. But I bought this Edition recently on Amazon Black Friday and was a lot cheaper then the newer version out now.
The first ever TTRPG I got into was DND 4E and was getting really tired of the huge emphasis on combat and was looking to get into something different. I don't know how many systems I've gotten to learn about through this channel and while I spent a large time away from gaming, the timing is perfect as I was just researching MOTW for a one shot next month with my old group :)
Bestiary is pronounced bes·chee·eh·ree. That surprised me because I thought you pronounced the "t"... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-rft96pqaXGA.html
Another thing in that product is they have about 20 trade categories icons, and this little code says what sort of stuff is imported and exported from each of the worlds they describe. Numbers around these icons discuss prices and volume of trade. Very nice idea. Warm regards, Rick.
Pronounced: BEAST-iary. Spelled: BEST-iary. I think the difference is how America/England spells certain words like color vs. colour; theater vs. theatre, etc.
😡 I hate the fact that Armageddon and Witchcraft is not in print anymore. I have found Witchcraft though in used format... that doesn't work for me. Wish they could print some new.
