Tom's Key Company believes that an extra car key should not be ridiculously expensive (it seems car dealerships feel differently). Tom's Key enables individuals to program new car keys and remote fobs for their vehicle at a fraction of the price most car dealerships charge. We also believe the customer service should be excellent and if it doesn't work for your vehicle, you deserve a full refund.
Program Car Keys and Remotes Order a programmer and save money doing it yourself. Easy to program - less than 15 minutes! Satisfaction guaranteed or your money back
Went to a honda dealership and they ripped out the cables from my dash cam, no one has ever done that before, when I confronted them about it they it’s common practice now….. but why was it done so aggressively!?!? ‘Crickets’
I bought 2 key FOBS on ebay for $15 dollars for my Chevy Trailblazer. RU-vid had the programing video. I was done no later than 7 minutes. Ford can go where the Sun doesn't shine!
My 2015 came with 1 key. My parents bought me a legit Chevy key and fob for $50… Was told only Chevy can program it I went and they wanted $400 just to program the fob… I’ve had a spare key for the 10 years I’ve owned this truck with a non working fob..
Here in the UK I accidentally scratched another person's car when parking. Doing the decent thing I left my details at the scene. Sure enough the owner contacted me and I told him to go get a quote for repair. As he has a Ford Focus he went to the local dealership. They quoted him £600 (about $770). I said "no way..!?" I took a picture of the damage to a guy I know who owns a paint shop, he said he'd do it for £150. The car owner agreed, and when it was all done, he was very happy with the finish. Ford dealerships, total rip off...!!!
Grapevine Toyota had my Prius in for a wash(nothing else) on a Friday afternoon and wrecked it by leaving it in drive and getting out of the car. There was a fair sized hole in the front bumper, and they offered to replace it(it was a new car) I got it back 2 days later, and they swore they had replaced it with a new one. I showed them my initials under the bumper, and they said, "That's a manufacturer mark." I showed them my phone video of me initialing the bumper, and it got really quiet. I got a new bumper, along with lifetime oil changes and washes.

Hi. I want an admin key for my 2018 Ford Escape. There are some features that I need to disable and I would need the admin key. Is this the solution to my problem? Will your key act as an admin key? Thanks.
Owners manual will tell you how to set up an admin and restricted key. Look for Ford My Key. This can help you make a second key. You doing want to turn on Ford My Key unless you have at least 2 keys
Hi Carl, yes, our key will work as an admin key for the 2018 Ford Escape once programmed. It will indeed allow them to disable the MyKey restrictions. If they have any more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out at help@tomskey.com. Thanks!
No. Just because you can get it cheaper somewhere else, does NOT mean you're being ripped off. I am a weather forecaster. A weather forecast from me can cost several thousand dollars, if it is a two week forecast on freeze dates for Florida. It costs me literally nothing to produce. Your entire premise is absurd.
After a lot of searching, I found Tom's. I was so excited. But I, and thousands others, will not use a service from a company that does not provide live customer support. I was even impressed because it seemed to be a company begun by a young entrepreneur. But no matter how busy a company is I won't buy anything or support a company that can't talk to a human being there are tons of other companies out there that will it's unfortunate I'm sure you don't need me one customer but don't forget there are thousands like me that you could probably convert to happy customers if you are available to them By phone The biggest parts companies in the nation have customer service.
Thanks for your feedback. We will make phone calls to customers who need advanced support. Part of the ability to keep prices so low is by having primary customer support via chat and email. Agents are able to answer many more questions this way, so fewer agents are required by have phone support limited to more complicated issues. That said, we will take your feedback into consideration as we continue to grow.
As a former commercial truck dealer I can tell you it costs a lot of money in overhead and tools to operate a dealership. Sure you can go elsewhere and get cheaper service but do they don’t offer same warranty etx

I just had the Chevy dealership here cut a new door/ignition key for my Duramax last week using the code from the vin, it took less than 10 mins and costed $20 total.
Specially here in Houston Texas, they reap you off I use work there but because I told my sister what they did to her truck they fired me right at the spot when my sister went to complain
Yep, America knows these fricking jackals. That's why the foreign makes are better in customer satisfaction. And, liars on top of it! Guilt is nothing to these ppl. Sad! Thank you for this footage.
wait a min , im not defend the dealer but here is how it work in the business , the consumer chooses where to do business , every state has data on automotive business , every kinda car dealer set price per hour , there is no limit on price , but the dealer has to charge customer correctly hour of service , so that could be why there is different on price , also the overhead is more so they charge you more , i lost my mercedes GT 22 key which cost 650.lol
I got ripped off at a Chevy dealership and vowed when the time came for a car, I will never go there.......think I'll buy a Subaru, I'm done with chevy!

Stealership is the proper name for a lot of the dealership service departments....... once the dealer tried to charge me for changing the engine air filter and the cabin air filter.... when I demanded to see the old filters that they had removed they were shocked to find out that I had previously replaced these filters myself and with a marker pin dated and initialed the filters... and my marked filters were still installed in the vehicle.... they got caught with no real explanation...... never went back to that stealership....

What an important video, the dealer needs to be reported to the better business bureau and file a complaint! That is unacceptable. Thanks for showing what a rip off looks like.
Absolutely! RU-vid has definitely made things a lot easier. We're glad you found the process simple. If you have any other questions, feel free to check help.tomskey.com
