Honda keys have a design flaw and the metal blade tends to break off the remote fob. I wanted to find out if the Honda dealership would fix the broken key or if they insist on selling me a new key.

You seem like the typical customer that complains about everything. The same type of customer that a business says, “we no longer want your business”! And then you go to other shops and the same thing happens. Shops talk back and forth about annoying customers and relay the info back and forth. I’m glad you started your own business of keys and fobs, more power to you. And you complain about wait time, technicians have the stuff going on and don’t like dropping what they are doing to program a freaking key fob. And i don’t understand why you say “you are getting ripped off” when those different vehicles are not yours! Don’t slam a dealership to make money. People can also go to a neighborhood locksmith business that does that as well and then they won’t have to wait for your OBD plug-in to come in the mail. They can just go the day that they need it done!

I wonder how Tom’s ski company verifies ownership of the keys that they’re sending a programmer out to whereas I could just order that, be a convicted felon, make a spare key of a car I rent, borrow from a friend, take on a test drive from a dealership and steal the vehicle I guess the integrity isn’t there unless somehow they verify ownership which they don’t show any other other videos that they verify you are who you say you are We should make sure that the key legally are allowed to have a key made because somebody could be still in their buddies vehicle or other vehicles as described earlier as well

Why not name the Honda dealers? Well you called so many. My local Honda dealer gives customers my number and has them call me. I charge a trip fee to bring my vehicle. If it’s so cheap why is Tom’s charging so much for a “reshell” of a remote head key. I mean the key shell only costs less than $5 wholesale. I bring the service, make sure everything works properly, NO PROGRAMMING NEEDED….. The key is less than 10. Wonde is TOMS is paying Ford, Honda for the licensing of using their logos? Many key suppliers don’t pay their licensing fees for using a Brands logo… How’s that fair? I use aftermarket and offer a better warranty than any key company can offer on the OEM shells needed.

I bought my case on Amazon for $10 or less the only thing is that the cases are sometimes flawed= made in china 😢 first one was flawed 2nd one was perfect fixed my key fob in 5 min or less

Not going to lie, I'm not disappointed of ordering 2 keys from toms key, and the programmer, but had I known you can get the same keys cut and replaced for 16 dollars straight from China I definitely would not have given toms keys 110 dollars to cut my keys 🤷

280 dollars for two keys, I could have had all new keys 109 for the programmer, plus 16 dollars for a cut and ready to program key from China! Toms key charges 55 just for the cut! I noticed he likes to call out dealers, but still charges 55 dollars to cut a key?😢

Basically what I'm saying he just wants your money to! Little did I know you can replace your keys for 16 dollars! Cut and ready to go! Just order from China! A respectful country! We suck, and you cost me 280 dollars, 3 other new keys cost me less than 50 dollars!
