Atomic Rose is my favourite perfume, it’s so feminine, sexy, mysterious. Not something for every day wear but I still like to think of it as my signature scent.
I finished my 2.5oz of Coromandel so I got the 200ml. It's such a love for me! If I had to choose a signature scent, this would be it! Oh goodness and my 10ml Comete arrived and I can't stop wearing it! It is so beautiful!

Atomic Rose is one of my favorites, I love Musk Therapy. Chirs i think that Sonic flower by room 1015 smells like Musk Therapy. Oh BTW i sampled Paragon by Initio and i fell in love with it. i think is going to be my next initio. 🤭

I highly recommend Forêt verte by Ausmane Paris as a longer lasting dupe for Bal d’Afrique. I’m on my 3rd bottle since trying it by chance at a Gallerie Lafayette a couple of years ago.

I have Bal D'Afrique, too, and I really like it. Then I smelled Contralto by Sospiro, which is very similar, and LOVED it. I need to sell my Bal D'Afrique so I can buy that one. 😄 It lasts longer, as well. The two I seem to be going through quickly are Spiritcask by Jorum Studio (but it's only a 30 ml) and Sunset Hour by Goldfield & Banks (got a compliment on that today). Really enjoyed the video!
Chris, I'm really enjoying Bal D'Afrique dupe by Oakcha...lasting power is much longer and smells amazing layered with Body Shop Mango Body Yogurt...the OG just disappears on my skin and I love the scent so much. With you on Sea and Sky...I've only had my bottle a couple of months and dang near the halfway mark- so gorg. Thanks as always❤

Yes....coconut is so good too and I love the strawberry layered with Burberry Her. Btw I have a rec for a guava body butter on Amazon that layers so well with Sunsplosion and Narco Oasis, Deep Steep body butter guava.
Hi Chris! Bal D Afrique is one of my absolute faves as well. Try the Oakcha dupe and the middle eastern one, Emir Vetiver Delight - both are longer lasting than the OG but is easier on the pocket. 😂

Hi. I never comment but I just had to tell you thanks for your recommendation of Southern Peach Tea. I bought it after I heard you talk about it last summer. Peach is one of my favorite notes so I figured I couldn’t go wrong. I liked it when I got it but when I pulled it out again this summer it was an instant LOVE! What a difference letting it sit for awhile made. It’s absolutely beautiful. I need to get a bigger bottle but sadly it’s sold out. My small bottle will last for awhile though……until I can get a bigger backup bottle. It’s definitely backup worthy. Thanks again!

All of the perfume girlies are saying vibrant vetiver from Paris corner smells spot on to bal d afrique! It’s on my list to try. Also the rare beauty body sprays are supposed to smell similar.

Chris have you heard of Vibrant vetiver delight? It's very affordable and has been described as a dupe for Bal d'Afrique. I purchased it but I unfortunately don't have Bal d'Afrique to compare. It's a nice one.

Gypsy water I have been gone through four 100 ml on my 5th but taking my time with it, I have tried many dupes and none were satisfying. I wish Byredo could do something to their scents to give them better lasting power.

I do have it and LOVE it! It has lasted a week and a half on my bath robe. It’s one of my favorite gourmands at the moment. It’s actually the fragrance I was referring to in this video (the one I said I’d talk about in another video). It literally is one of the best gourmands . It’s a gourmand but done with a light touch. Soooo yummy!

Oh gosh I would be also. I’m not a fan of Intense Cafe and declutteted years ago. I think Intense Cafe smells more like Delox or Gentle Fluidity Gold. To me, on me they are VERY different: at least my experience not similar: hopefully you got an authentic one??? 😳
Musc Mochus may be a bit more affordable than Musk Therapy. I paid $150 for 50 ml. Not sure how much the 100 ml is. I prefer Musc Mochus by a tiny bit. Never smelled that Byedyo fragrance, but for Vetiver my pick is Sycamore by Chanel. Great review as always.
Hi Chris... you are thinking of Peaches Revenge by Sarah Baker and I have a sample. Once I compared it to Southern Peach Tea, I will stay with Southern Peach Tea. Peaches Revenge is great but more of a Winter boozy peach to my nose and harder to pick up the peach in it anyway.

Yes to Marshmallow! GOOSE CREEK BODY LOTION, is something you might like Chris. The name is MARSHMALLOW SUGAR. I so disliked it at first🤦. NOW I use it almost every pm. To me it has a toasted coconut vibe in the background, but the MM shines. Sweet and comforting. It's very liquidy in quality, but not pricey. It's hit and miss with this Company from comments on their website. Their sales are worth trying. FRANCINE 🙋

People go crazy for Musk Therapy when I wear it! I will always have it in my collection, I hope I can find it on sale again when it’s time. I’d be willing to have less in my collection so I can afford it. 😊 I wear it all year round to all occasions, such a beautiful and unique, yet universally appealing scent.
Bal D’Afrique was my very first niche perfumes I purchased around 10 years+ ago. One of my all time favourites. The longevity back then was amazing, unfortunately they reformulated it and hardly lasts like you said. Please let me know if you ever find anything similar that lasts!.
I bought my bottle 10+ years ago as well. Maybe that’s why I’m always surprised when people comment about poor longevity - it’s been reformulated. I never thought about it, my bottle had amazing longevity!
Maison Alhambra Infini Musk scratched the Musc Therapy itch for me without breaking the bank , I think it’s pretty close to the og going off a sample I got…❤
I have Cacti and love it! I also bought the sample set from the house and they have many perfumes that are now on my wishlist, unfortunately, but I guess that is what I get for ordering the sample kit 😂! @@ThePerfumeNest I love almost all of them but of course I can only buy one every so often. my next full bottle of the house will be Tóor Tóor it is a beautiful clean zesty scent , Himitsu - beautiful violet and suede scent. Others on the list are Jade Vines, nitesurf neroli, falling trees . Ugh, and more. The house is one of the best IMO. The only complaint I have are the sample sizes and bottles . They are 1ml with dabbler wands and no name on them so you have to make sure to keep them with the postcard they game attached with. Looking forward to your hearing about your favorites of the house.

It is an incredibly uplifting. light inoffensive grab and go perfect for any occasion and work-friendly. Hermes sells a refill, which makes it a great value imho. I tried the absolu version but prefer the original. this is happiness in a bottle. Not long lasting but too good and worth reapplication after 5 hours. 🍋 🌸

It’s expensive. 98% of the feedback I get from ppl here about Musk Therapy is extremely positive but some ppl might think the price is not worth it (I got a good deal on Jomashop when they were having a sale). ❤️❤️

You are honestly not missing anything with Peach’s Revenge. It reminds me if TF Bitter Peach. But maybe not as good as that one. I was hoping for my holy grail Peach. ... recently I've found Vanille 12:00 though and that one is amazing! Same with JOUSSET Madeleine De Proust

Coromandel is such a beautiful cool weather fragrance. I wore it a ton the first couple months of the year. But sometimes when it’s so hot we have to run the a/c at night just to sleep I spray coromandel on my pjs so I can snuggle in the scent without it being too hot and humid! 🫶🏼 Chris have you tried Chanel comete? The new release? I purchased it right after release and boy do I love it!
