My husband gifted me Atomic Rose after I wore through my small decant on date nights. Anytime we are out (it’s my date night signature), I swear men sniff me out and find me to smell what perfume I’m wearing. 😂 I rarely get actual compliments but I can tell by others’ reactions that they love it. And anytime I have girlfriends over who want to smell my perfumes, they always are blown away by Atomic Rose.
@@nele9045 I love ordering from Scent Split esp for expensive perfumes. Because sometimes just a 5 ml or 9 ml is all I need. You can enjoy fancy perfumes that are authentic at a fraction of the cost.
My 16 year old son never comments on my perfumes but when I first got Hufflepuff he came OUT of his room saying “what smells so good? Did you make cake?” 😂 He was very disappointed there was no cake but he was in awe of how good it smells.

I'm mostly around my husband and he's picky 😅 but he will compliment me without fail every time I wear BR 540 or Prada Paradoxe Intense. I was testing Vibrato from Sospiro this week and he lit up when I walked into the room and demanded to know what I was wearing. I was surprised that he liked it so much on me because I think it pulls pretty masculine (I love it though and I'll be testing a larger sample size). I'm a new follower and I love your reviews and how specific you are about the feedback you get from other people on your fragrances!
Aw!!!! Thank you so much for such a nice comment! My hubby also loves BR540. He says, “it’s a party in a bottle!” So I always wear it when we go to a holiday party. 😆 . I gave Pat Junoon Oud which he loves and is a dupe of Vibrato. There were two weeks he wore it every day. 😉

My grandmother used to wear Diorissimo so it's super nostalgic for me because she always smelled amazing. I recently picked up Penhaligon Lily of the Valley because it reminded me of that. Curious what you'd think!
I agree with your mom. I love Ebene Fume! I think Bianco Latte and Devotion are the two that my super picky best friend recently liked the most on me. She always asks to use it when she comes over. I have never smelled Trussardi Donna but I may just blind buy it because it’s so affordable. I always discover something new thanks to you!😍
The stories about your colleagues are hilarious😂😂. I have one friend who doesn’t like strong fragrances however I was shocked when she complemented me when I wore RM no.5 at a function🤩🤩. I still love Lamar, Mon Guerlain Intense and Donna😍😍. Stay gorgeous 🥰🥰
Some great perfumes!! Wind flowers definitely has patchouili. It’s almost too much at one point in the wear but then it settles down. I love Atomic Rose and I’m in love with the dry down of it, too!
Picky daughter bowled me over when she said her favorite perfume in my collection (that she’s smelled): Xerjoff Starlight! 😮 She’s a light floral girl so I was 🤯😂 I even gave her a small decant to enjoy
I truly enjoyed this video, Chris. A lot of of my favorites are here. I was one of those who really liked DIOR Lucky, even though it’s light wearing. I thought that it was discontinued. Quickly went to the Dior website while watching your video and realized that Dior still carries it! Yayyyyy!!!😁😁😁

This happened to me with my brother in law, he typically does not like scents at all! 🥰🥰 I just wore Trussardi Donna out this past week to a sports banquet that my husband and I sponsor the prizes for, and I smelled it softly all around me all evening, loved every moment. 💛 But that night my husband said something smells really good ..and it wasn't me he smelled! (from what I can tell it was a body spray one of the students was wearing!) 😅😅😅
Chris I bought Kilian’s GGGB based on your “perfumes I bought after smelling on someone else” video, and it has quickly become a signature for me! My 8-year-old son comments on it every time I wear it and that makes it feel even more special to me. ❤️ My mom hates it though. 😂 Can’t please everyone!

@@ThePerfumeNest I would have never picked it up if I hadn’t heard your experience with it in that video. I said OK, I have to sample it now! So glad I did. Gritti Adele smells identical to it (I’m pretty sure they duped GGGB) but I still prefer Kilian’s.
Such a great topic! My son is the harshest critic ever and one of the only times he’s told me I smelled good was when I had on Mon Guerlain. Pretty good taste for a 10 year old! I really want to add the intense version to my collection. Cheers
Thanks for sharing & I’m so glad some frags won over your hard-to-win co-worker’s opinions❤ I wish my hubby would show more interest in the fragrances I love & wear, but he’s just not a very expressive guy …So, I have yet to get many, if any, compliments from any of the men I live (hub & adult son) or work with (guys just passing thru the office @ end of day) on my fragrances; however, I think via body language, gesturing or distancing they’d let me know if they didn’t like something I was wearing, so I’ll just go blissfully on assuming they do!😉🌼😁😘
Yes. But I do think, at least here and esp after the “Me Too” movement, men are much more afraid to comment on personal appearance , etc, for fear of getting into trouble.

I was wearing Coco Mademoiselle Intense. My husband has never commented on any perfume! Am I wearing the right ones????😂😂😂 But none of that matters…I wear perfume for me….😊 So nice to see you….twice this weekend. 💛💛💛
You know I find ppl are a little nervous about complimenting strangers for fear of getting in trouble. My friends and coworkers know I encourage and actually want feedback (even the bad). And even my male coworkers are scared to say anything. Hello Sweet Girl. I’ve got the same nostalgia for Lily of the Valley. I wore Miguet du Bois in high school. I’ve got Donna and I really like it too. I think it was the creamy Sandalwood that got me. While I like Tom Ford fragrances most just don’t last on me(boo hoo). I hope your day is fun and relaxing!
How lucky are we to get two videos this weekend? I sold my Dahab a few months back after having it several years. It got to be too much for me, reminding me of Erba Pura, which I really dislike. I love Lamar though which I did get not too long ago from Joma shop.
My husband is such a hard guy to please/impress. There are a couple that he really likes, but I have got to say, he has fallen in love with Ganymede, Oud for Greatness and I Don't Know What.
The only fragrance my partner likes iftom my collection is Triumph of Bacchus...He uses it from time to time...:) and the only frgrances i got compliments for are by Profumum Roma ...:)
Of Triumph is so good! It’s gotten a little less fruity since I’ve owned it. But PR….so yummy. I haven’t tried them all. I’m afraid. 😂 Acqua E Zucchero is still my current fav

I need to try Wednesday. I just know there's a rose patchouli for me... Gris Dior is beautiful on others and my husband really likes it on me but something about the way my nose perceives the fragrance makes it a no :/

My birthday is in May and since I was little my grandparents always were gifting me a bouquet of lilies of the valley 🥹💛 it is for sure one of my favorite flowers, so delicate but mighty, the scent is incredibly beautiful and strong!
