good luck getting your money out of it. I think he will lose it in the end. I hope not. Depends on how much younger his wife is if she is filipina. his place will always be lowballed in a sale just for the fact everyone knows he will be desperate to sell. Dont see a soul walking around.,
They will always upcharge white people. Always use your phillipino wife to meet and talk. You wouldent get charged that amount. Yes i live in Philippines and i know this.
I hope for him, he has his affairs in order. That it isn’t like Thailand where the property can only be owned by a Thai. Because then she will be asking for a divorce the minute the paint is dry 😂
$1,500 a month is more doable and I'm not paying any rent or mortgage since I invested to build a house. Plus, I have some extra savings for emergency.
Cant buy land your woman can buy land,if your incorporated you can buy land in trust only a percentage your woman will have you bye the short and curlys for life you couldnt pay me to live like that.
I was also looking for land in Zamboanguita in early 2000. Most of the land available was too hilly for what I wanted. It's nice to travel out there since they have repaved the road.
Cool idea for a house i would copy elements from. But all the glass windows are not tinted I am afraid it heats up the house extremely... Am I right about it or is this not a problem to consider?
This is definitely one of the better western style houses I have seen here. All the extended roof lines and extra CRs are a really important detail more home should have. My only complaint would be that there is a larger dirty kitchen.
Power is a problem. Norico II voltage drops according to use. The more power you draw the lower the voltage until the frig and ACs units stop cooling. It was very difficult to understand until we got solar power. Also the cost at 12 peso a kWh gets pricey when you figure 1.5 mW a month. Did I mention brownouts all hours of the day and night plus those all day scheduled Sunday outages now and again. Going solar is the only way to live here.
I totally agree. In Mindoro the rate is almost 16 pesos per kWH. I bought 16kWH battery and inverter plus 12 panels for 560k. It didn’t totally cover my entire electricity so I added another battery and 6 more panels for 200k. I’m now totally off the local electric company and no more worries about brownouts which is very common here.

Apart from the expense and effort in managing the construction of this home, the couple also have to maintain the place - hiring gardeners, cleaning staff, security, etc.
Nice....... They have it....... As for me, 225 million will allow me to buy a big condo for easier maintenance and build passive income like apartments..... Then built scholarships....
@@Alex_Kosh probably now lol😂 a lot changed actually but i still live near, i live in bacong now just like 8 minutes drive away i still visit sometimes, the cottage that we put there is still there and the sea wall in front of the house that my father built is also still there
Unfortunately, the cottage is in very bad condition. The workers who were working on the house used bamboo pieces to cook. They might replace it with a new one, but I'm not sure. Without the seawall, the house would have already been washed away by the ocean during storms. So it was good and very useful construction. You probably knew the German gentleman who was the original owner; sadly, he passed away recently.
Click bait says sold in 24hrs yet still available also he says his name is on the title and that's all too because the property would go to her family and that's where all hell will break loose he will not be able to sell it they would have to approve this is why you see a lot of vacant properties and homes here just drive around you'll see them
