Hi thank you for the video, if you don’t mind answering this….what setting do you put the battery charger on? Maintain/winter mode or charge mod? Alternatively if you know amperage 3A/40A/300A?
Thanks for the video. In my case the paper washer installed was sooo thin and dificult to remove. I removed it the best I could. The New one is much thicker
You can also access them by opening the hood of the bmw, by using a flat head, and there right there, L to right, black box compartment. I feel that's an easier way
Thank you for sharing your knowledge. The video was essential for me to be able to make the necessary repairs on my 2002 BMW 320i 2.2 24v. My name is RaGe and I live in Brazil, on the southern border with Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay
Great video, it was very informative. If you look at the video at 3:11, the reason that the crows foot and O2 sensor tools "didn't work" is that you are actually trying to tighten the sensor instead of loosening it. When you place the adjustable wrench, you are actually turning the sensor in the correct direction. Happens to the best of us - cheers!
why on earth didn't you include the part where you remove the nut! That's the reason why I clicked on your video because I'm trying to remove the water pump and and I cannot undo the nut!
Probably the literal best video on how to do this job step by step. I’ll definitely be using this when I have to drop mine to check my bearings and pick up tube.
Those are camshaft positions sensors, this is crankshaft position sensor. They are all identical sensors but different lol I know. I ordered all 3, luckily I didn’t take them out the box til I installed all of them. U can easily mix them up and be screwed.
Hie guys can you please assist me with my car is 2000 model BMW E46 318i Automatic . l think l went pass through a big stone in the road and it hit my gearbox pan folding it upwards but not breaking it and l managed to get home and parked the car .Then the next day l started the car and as l try to put the car in drive it is stopping at the Reverse(R) slot even if you try to force it to reach the neutral (N) and the Drive(D) slot it is bouncing back to the Reverse slot infact its not getting in Neutral nor Drive(D) .I suspected the sound l heard underneath the car yesterday and when l checked underneath l could see the gearbox pan was damaged it has folded a bit upwards but its not linking any transmission oil .My question is can this damage of folding the pan upwards cause the car not to engage in N and D and how can l fix the pan to be straight need you help guys
The book says 4.4 qts but my 2014 prius V takes only 3.9 qts and that is including the filter change up to the top fill line on dipstick. Over filling a hybrid engine above the max fill line is not recommended by many sources on the internet. I found this out recently after my mechanic put in 4.5 qts and I had to drain out about 17 oz to get it back down to the max line. Overfilling is not good. Under filling slighty is much better
If your doing your own oil change make sure you loosen the oil filter before you drain the oil because youll create what is called a vaccum seal which makes it extremely difficult to remove

The level on Max line is the recommended for the idoneous level on ATF fluid for the engine oil temperature at 20 degrees (non service temperature, cold engine) I speak with ISTA + toubleshooting manuals (the same than TIS documentation), so it notifies the ATF fluid could be a little bit over the max mark on the steering pump reservoir with the engine at service temperature (engine oil temp at 60 degrees) I say that cos you show the line between max and min, but TIS recommends to have the level on max for cold engine. Also it recommends to dont use any kind of elements for the refill, it should be performed directly from the ATF bottle cos the dusty.
