In The Kitchen With Dinah began in the fall of 2007 as a personal chef meal service. The motto was, "home-cooked meals for busy families." Each week I prepared and delivered meals to my customers and eventually began catering. As my kids grew older, I felt God leading me in another direction, and I began working at a local bank. I still felt like I wanted to share my love of cooking by helping people, especially young adults, learn to prepare home cooked meals themselves. After much more thought and prayer I mustered up enough courage to start a RU-vid channel. In July of 2021 we started writing and recording my theme song ( yes, that's me singing), and in August of 2021, we shot my first episode. Don't mistake me for some fancy-schmancy chef, I'm not. I am a wife and mother who simply loves 'back to basics' recipes that taste good, reheat well, and can even be frozen. I have multiple 3-ring binders full of tried and true recipes I can't wait to share with you!
Hi, notes: If you want to put olives: do not cut them!!!!...You can use only chickpeas and no olives. We use feta cheese cubed not crumbs from the bag. !!!!!.....
That looks so good, I tested positive for allergy to chick peas but I’m sure white kidney bean would work, everything else i can eat. LOVE the color of the salad. Chicken would be great with this like you said. Thanks for sharing!
Another one I will be making, Thank you ❤. To bathe my girl I have smeared peanut butter in the bath to keep her happy 😂🤣. Of course Natural peanut butter
So I've made this several times ans my man is obsessed. I brown my meat, drain and add taco seasoning, paprika, chile powder, garlic, and onion powder, celery and garlic salt and pepper.. yall, if the meat isn't good on its own season it it's so important. Sounds like over boarding, but it's just adding until the taste is right.
@InTheKitchenWithDinah ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I was able to make 3 dishes right now 2 for tonight for us and the neighbor and one for later. So yummy I also just mix in whatever canned of cream goods I have usually mushroom and chicken together with some milk. Topped with cheese. 😍 Thank you for sharing. Truly appreciate the video and the tune. 😊🎶
You do such a great job making these videos. Easy to follow, interesting and fun. Thanks! I hope your algorithms get boosted by people liking and commenting on your work. Great recipe selection. 🍋🍊🍉
I made this dish and both myself and my husband Love it! I sautéed chicken breast first , for him, and thighs for me. This recipe is very tasty. We tried it over rice, which was excellent. Today I took the leftovers and mixed them with cooked hot egg noodles, some grated Italian cheese blends and half and half - warming everything together slowly...we got more another dish and more delicious flavor. Try it you'll like it!
Love the Mary Poppins reference.❤ In my family we use fresh peeled cucumber as a substitute for pickles and it's absolutely delicious, just need to add a little more salt to make up for the lack of pickles. Thanks for the video.
@@InTheKitchenWithDinah the humidity is what’s so oppressive but I have a log cabin in the mountains a couple hours away and 20 degrees cooler with low humidity so when the forecast is bad I escape the heat for a week or so.
Love the video! I just made my first batch of strawberry freezer jam and I can barely wait to eat it haha. Love your videos and your calm straightforwardness. Looking forward to more content :) I came for the jam but I'm staying for your lovely personality. -Caitlyn
I used the one rise method for my whole whet bread and it prevented the over proofing and collapse problem. Do you do this with all your bread? Thanks so much for that advise!
Thats exactly how people with food allergies feel, there are so many delicious foods they can't eat. Its pretty depressing when you consider how much of our lives are built around delicious food and fellowship. My hope is that the GF, DF, egg free people will find these and be blessed to eat something allergen friendly.
Looks good, I thought gluten was my problem and through allergy testing I found out it was the additives in store bought bread. I started making my out bread, fresh ground and organic white with no additives and my stomach issues went away along with sneezing fits when eating store bought bread. I did test positive for lactose intolerance and I started using fair life milk. Amazing to read ingredients in a loaf of bread. Thanks for the video
I am 100% agree with the fresh milled flour, I have been grinding my own for over 15 years. However, there are people who are allergic to certain foods. I do believe our processed foods in grocery stores are a big problem.
