Thank you for demonstrating the dubbing and X wrap style , i am a beginner in fly tying and your vid helped me immensely, thank you ,all the best , David.
Very nice job quite well done !! I bet you that the strippers will attack them with a vengeance. Thanks for your time and knowledge . Dave Hughes 🎣🤠, Rolla MO.
Thanks for a great video. Really a game changer for me to see you having the material towards the hookeye and folding it backwards. Gonna try this pattern as I looks very close to a famous Swedish lure called Abbekåsaren.
Good video, I'm miles away from any saltwater but this super-light lure setup appeals to me. Do these little jelly lures work in silty estuary waters, or do you need something bigger or with a bit of vibration?
Nice video Chris, Crucians are my favourite species and I have had some big Crucians from that venue in the past. I recently uploaded a short video on my channel titled The Crucian which features some massive Crucians from a Swedish lake that smashes our British Record, amazing species.
Very nice and relaxing video Chris, I must give Throop a visit soon as I love my Chub fishing, have subbed to your channel and will watch your other videos. If you get a chance feel free to check out my videos on my channel as I like the relaxing video approach myself and hopefully you will enjoy them. Tight Lines, Russ
Great video. I would love to tie some of these. It appears all the pearl crinkle hair is out of stock on the website. What is a similar product I could use?
Iloved it just fantastic looked very peacefull and some top angling well done and thanks for taking the time to upload. Youve got another subscriber here👍
Thanks again for info, watched a few times now. I intend to fish for sea bass, but I am new to the fly side, so please bear with me. What do you use for tippet to go with the 30/20lb leader, how long, and do you use a tippet ring?
Hello John, you don't need a tippet, just tie your fly straight to the 20lb fluorocarbon. The 20/30lb leader is designed to offer a nice balance between stiffness and turnover of the fly whilst still allowing the fly movement in the water. Anything less than 20lb and it won't turn over properly at the end of the cast. Make sense?
