a lot of people ride bikes because their health isn't good, then they don't like wearing the uncomfortable clothes, it is kind of a problem, but they should really be getting the 32 or 45 kph limited electric stuff for example
This is very similar to a Ride1up Rift? Yeah I think 30mph is fast enough for me. Even MiniMotos are 5x heavier, you can't go above 30mph on a bike without thinking you're at risk. Cheers :)
The NAVI is $2500 CAD in Canada, and the Grom is $4500 CAD. Would I get basically the same experience with the NAVI? I can't see what the extra $2000 is buying me. Also is there a 2025 Navi coming? Seems like it was discontinued.
@@PetroHead that's why the scooter dressed as motorbike 😁 The concept is not new. Back in the 90's gilera (Italian defunct bike maker) had the gilera dna which looked like a motorbike (actually way prettier than the navi) but kept the engine and transmission of a scooter. Funky little devils, those old 2 strokes
@@SandStormPower that's not true, in your mind anything with a automatic transmission is not a motorcycle, but it still is (would you say a car with an automatic transmission isn't a car???)
I’m 5’4” and been riding bikes too tall for me since I was 6 (30 years ago) so I’m used to it. One thing I didn’t hear him mention that is a world of change for riding is some height increasing boots. They have a normal looking boot sole and the height is increased in the actual boot so it doesn’t look like you have on platforms. I always thought those type of boots/shoes were dumb and was like a girl stuffing her bra lol. But for riding it made a world of difference. I’ve had a Nina 650 and 636 and a Harley street glide which were all comfortable even without the boots because I’m used to tall bikes but with the boots I could flat foot everything. Yamaha’s like this guys tend to be super tall but Honda CBR’s, Suzuki GSXR’s, and Kawasaki Ninjas are all a bit shorter AND have thinner seats which helps as well. Trail breaking like he said helps a lot too! ✊STAY TOXIC my fellow Short Kings!
My 2017 Grom started bogging and losing power out of the nothing. Then I checked my air filter (it was normal), spark plug (normal), and valves (normal). I looked at my fuel filter and it was disintegrated completely. I ended up changing it, but the bogging issue was still there. Then I cleaned the fuel injector and it got better but still bogging and losing power in around 6k rpm. Is it happening or happened with someone else?
Last couple years, the Groms had a gear bushing issue. Cb300r also had transmission issues. Maybe it's a small percentage of bikes and hopefully Honda fixed the issues with 2025 bikes. Do your research and buy a Kawasaki 😅
@PetroHead walk the bike.. new rider here, and I live on a 45°-50° in/decline.. need to make 2-3 very quick short turns before I can get to street/hill to go down.. am very terrified of dropping bike b/c of my lack of experience...
If you’re comfortable with clutch control, use engine to go up hills while you walk it but be careful not to launch it. If you stall It, it won’t go anywhere. Never put bike in neutral in hills.
350 pound person maximum for a bike usually, including this one, but 300 pounds would be recommended, good luck with your weight loss journey, I mean no offense, I was once hundred+ pounds overweight and I learned to Swim and got a 1 year pass to a pool+gym... treadmill, exercise bike, learn to swim, you can do it! change that diet (no pop, no candy, get rid of whatever your kryptonite food is)! good luck
There is no upgrade mini bike this is the pinnacle. Unless you meant buy a real motorcycle in 1 year. This is not a motorcycle it’s a scooter that looks cool.
both the same price here so why not get all options ? pannier riding is the same . which sits more upright; which has smore leg room. BAsics to talke about vs what you like . Why ? better seat for pannier riding needs to be flat; not angled like the XR . Weight difference why ?
Very fucking useful video, thankyou my g (planning on getting a r3 and no one was available to teach me how to ride so I’m just watching videos online)
Nice video, very informative before I get my driving course. Just 1 question, is it ok to hold on to your clutch for a long time? I'm familiar with the car clutch, and stepping on it longer than normal is bad, but is it the same for clutched motorcycles?
When shifting up, do you engage the clutch before rolling off the throttle, or vice versa? You stated the former process at 4:46, but the latter at 5:00. Also, when you shift up to 2nd gear (and 3rd, and 4th, an so on), do you need to release the clutch as slowly as you did when you put it into first? You looked like you were releasing it much more quickly when shifting into those higher gears.
If they could wedge a water cooled 150~200cc in there for the USA so it could go a legit ~70 tops, it would sell a lot better. 52 mph typical max just does not work here.
@@PetroHead I never saw upper 50s unless downhill with a tailwind and drafting a car. Everyone else claims it's almost as fast as a water cooled Duke 200 ...
