Thank you! I do think it’s a huge benefit to live near family and that’s the way our ancestors did it. Benefit for you is the help with raising children and the benefit for the children is to have family members take care of them instead of strangers which is a big deal as they will be constants in their lives, and also to grow up among many different age groups, especially grandparents who can pass down a lot of wisdom to kids who are growing up in very privileged conditions compared to them. We don’t wants kids raising kids and that’s what’s happening now.

I am a Mom of 9 and now I have 6 grandkids. Still have four kids at home all different ages. So balancing that time is definitely a challenge. Getting that me time just so I can have a moment to breathe, think, and meditate has to be done when everyone is sleeping. Another way I get my time is locking myself in the bathroom 😊 unfortunately in there early stages of life I wasn't as in tune with myself as I am now and it is much easier as they are older. The first priority though has always been making sure dad is taken care of and I am present when he needs me. I find if dad is content then the rest is simple to me ❤
So many people have ill advised opinions about hospitals and nursing care regarding this topic. Great to hear they came through in your time of need. Hopefully it enlightened you to what value these educated, experienced professionals provide. More times than not things don’t go as easy as uninformed prepare for. Mothers regularly died giving birth before access to hospitals was the norm. It’s a shame this generation speaks so negatively about those services. It’s not a sign of weakness. It’s being responsible in the midst of arrogance. Glad your experience resulted in a good outcome.
Oh yes actually many people contribute in much bigger ways to this world than being a parent. Doctors, social workers, surgeons and nurses who help women like you for instance who can't deliver naturally 🤷♀️ and in this case they are not only "contributing" but actually essential to you, your safety and your life. They are more than responsible to other people's needs. Selfish is certainly not an appropriate term. Speak wisely Tatiana! 💁♀️ Transformation can happen through many things and at different stages of life not only through motherhood, thanks God.

Thanks Tatiana, I enjoyed your quiet conversational approach. I am retired South of you in Colombia but have never been to Panama so I've been watching quite a few videos about it. I find that the creators of the videos project their voice out of the normal range of volume, pace, inflection, etc. whereas you remain calm as if you're sitting in the same room with your viewers. I don't know how you overcame the bouncy room accoustics that plague so many videos. You must have high end equipment?
