can u do vids abaut how u make these professional plans, routes. i realy want to be a professional but its hard! if u can make a tip vid how to learn a map and complete it like u do
I could definitely think about it but I usually try to focus on more compact topics in my videos. There's really no easy and quick way to learn the maps. I personally have over 900 hours in all the 3 games of the trilogy combined and I still have trouble with some of the more complicated maps like Mumbai 😄 I'd recommend just playing around on the different maps, maybe even trying to get mastery level 20 in all the maps by doing different challenges and that way you will also learn the less common areas of the maps. You'll also unlock a ton of useful items along the way. As to how I make the plans and routes, I usually start the mission, pause and check on the minimap where all the targets are located. Then I try to figure out a path where I can start the mission right next to one of the targets and end close to one of the exit locations so I don't waste too much time running around since that's the biggest time waste in all my runs (for this part it also helps to have a high mastery level so you have all the starting locations and agency pickups available on the maps you want to play). I'm definitely not one the best speedrunners and sometimes I also need help along the way when planning my routes and such. One good resource I like to use is Hitmaps. It's a website where you can see a minimap-like view of the maps with all the necessary information like where the starting and exit locations are located and where all the items are found on maps. It's a definite timesaver for me personally when planning these routes. Even players with a ton of hours (or almost a ton) can't remember all the crowbar and wrench locations on all the maps so It's a quick and easy way to check for example if there's a crowbar near my route that I'm planning and that way I don't have to bring a lockpick and can use the equipment spot for something else useful. Hopefully this explanation helps you out at least a little bit. Good luck grinding those mastery levels. 😄
If you mean compared to the main game it's because this mission is a contract, created by the community. In the contracts mode, you can mark any npc as a target and then set certain kill conditions to the targets to make the missions more challenging. The conditions can range from pretty basic ones like killing the target with a certain weapon or wearing a certain disguise while killing them to more challenging ones like having to hide all targets in a container or completing the mission before a certain time limit is reached. The games publisher releases a batch of these contracts usually ones a month and they are called Featured Contracts. What differentiates the Featured Contracts from other contracts is that there are certain challenges and unlocks you get by completing a certain number of them (example 10, 25, 50, 75 and so on), so you can actually get some useful items that can be used either in the contracts or any other part of the game. Also a lot more people play the Featured Contracts compared to random ones so there's the community aspect as well, trying to compete on the leaderboard for the best score and so on.

Hi, thanks for the great feedback! Apart from these Featured Contract videos, I like to also make guides for new challenges that come to the game and how to unlock the new stuff associated with said challenges. I've only done 1 video regarding a pistol unlock because it was associated with a challenge that was released. Since you asked about pistols, I could probably make a guide showing how they can be unlocked, but that'd be pretty dry gameplay wise since most pistols are unlocked with either mastery levels on different maps or by completing x amount of Escalations. Apart from a couple that pop into my mind, you can most likely find the pistol you're interested in by just scrolling through the mastery level unlocks on different maps. Then you just have to grind out any challenges on that map to reach the desired level for the unlock. You definitely could be right but for the sake of the tutorial I wanted to show an easy way to get the targets above ground so they can be taken out from the neon sign. Since the sign and headshot were mentioned in the challenge description, I didn't wanna risk some people not getting the challenge popup if the challenge perimeters were more on the stricter side.

Don't want to spoil too much if you haven't played the story yet, but it's Olivia, the hacker working with Lucas Grey. She was briefly featured in season 1 of the trilogy so you might recognize her voice from there as well.

If you are talking about the Yuki part at 2:05 it's because some npcs and guards don't recognize all trespassing areas. For example Yuki's personal guards will keep you out of her room and the Operating Theater area, but aren't programmed to be enforcers in areas where they typically aren't suppose to be at. I believe it's the same for all maps that have different levels of security personnel but I could be wrong. You can tell if an npc or a guard is going to react to you being in an area or carrying an illegal item by the dot color in your minimap. If it's black you're good to go but if it's white, they will spot you and go report you to the nearest guard.

Thanks for this. I gave up and just waited for someone to post a solution. I had brought a banana with me, and collected the other three in the map. Still couldn't get the right sequence.
To use the elevator exits (all floors), you have to open the elevator doors using a terminal in the server room on level 3. You only have to open them once and then they'll stay open forever, making you able to exit the level via the elevator shafts. Yeah, It's definitely an odd one. I remember doing a similar featured contract where you had to kill the target with a fruit about a year ago, so now I had to just figure out the right amount of damage to inflict before you can kill them with the banana. Now just looking at the contract afterwards, the creator apparently included the amount of damage to inflict within the mission briefing and I completely missed it :D

I just checked and you can subdue the target with your bare hands and then do what I did. You just can't knock him out with a non-lethal melee since that deals a small amount of damage and then it screws up the banana kill. I tried to quickly knock him out with the Small Goldbar but thrown or melee attacked, it dealt too much damage so I decided to use the sedative syringe. Probably doesn't make much of a difference timewise whether you subdue him or use the syringe :)
Freelancer can definitely be a headache for newer players. With the extra guards and the possibility of losing all your items and tons of progress when dying, you definitely have to have some understanding of the maps and items beforehand to succeed. I wouldn't recommend refunding just based on that, the base game has so much to offer and with the ease of casual mode and reloadable saves, it'll be a much more enjoyable time learning the game's mechanics and maps. If you've refunded it already, there's a demo version that usually has some of the maps rotating in and out. Recommend trying it in the future if you consider rebuying the game.

Silenced pistols are useless compared to silenced big guns, which kills fast and can win in a shoot out. Also double as a sniper. I always carry silenced assault rifle or smgs.
Wow, there's a silenced pistol in Isle p of Sigail feckin buried in the ground. That's the way to do a good game design (except if you'd lose it, you need to repeat the process of finding it and that isn't really fast)
I thought about starting at the villa as well but after figuring out the sniper kill on the lifeguard I decided to continue with the Shark Hut start :)
You can unlock the Iceballer in the side mission called "Hokkaido Snow Festival". As the name implies, it's located in Hokkaido, one of the Hitman 2016 maps ported over to Hitman 3. I believe the Hitman 2016 maps come included in the Hitman 3 bundle sold nowadays so you should be able to play it if you've purchased the full game. There was a limited time window, where the starter pack players could access it, but it ended on January 8th.

You should still be able to unlock it. Only a few items like the Elusive Target related suit unlocks and pre-order bonuses are timed exclusives. Just make sure you're playing the Snow Festival version of the map since the Iceballer challenge is only available in that version of the map.

Lmao there is a time period when all 3 people you need are in front of the hospital entrance , you can just quickly throw a headshot to all of them and escape with the gondola (this thing yuki yamazaki arrives in)
The default ICA19 is pretty good at the start but I recommend getting the ICA19 Silverballer and the Krugermeier 2-2. ICA19 Silverballer can be unlocked in Paris at mastery level 10 but there are multiple reskins of it with the same characteristics and stats (basically reskins), such as the ICA19 Iceballer which I've made a video about, how to unlock it in under 5 minutes. It's very similar to the default ICA19 but has better accuracy when aiming. Krugermeier 2-2 on the other hand is pretty inaccurate at longer ranges and does less damage, but it's a great for specific situations such as firing near NPC's, as they don't hear gunshots nearly as far as other pistols. One example of this is at 1:50 in this video, where as with the ICA19 Silverballer, the NPC's near me possibly could've heard the gunshot, with the sub-sonic rounds I'm still able to take out the target without alerting the nearby NPC's. You can still get one-hit headshot kills but if you go for bodyshots, it'll take 2-3 more bullets compared to the ICA19 Silverballer for example. You can unlock the Krugermeier 2-2 in Bangkok at mastery level 20 but same as with the ICA19 Silverballer, there are other alternatives/reskins available on other maps as well. Definitely recommend unlocking them both (or similar pistols) and seeing what feels better. I personally prefer the Krugermeier 2-2 (as can be seen from basically any contract video I have uploaded 😅) but if you play on console or don't trust your aim, you're probably better off using ICA19 Silverballer more often, since the sub-sonic feature of the Krugermeier 2-2 doesn't make a difference in 90% of normal gameplay. Mostly comes down to what you prefer at the end of the day.

Depends a bit on what your goal is. If you're looking to only get a few mastery levels for a specific unlock or something, a great way to get there is to play the mission story's (with them, you can usually get to about level 5-9). They usually contain the most unique eliminations and add to the main storyline. If you still feel like you need more, there's usually dozens of challenges involving different eliminations specific to the maps. Some of them are pretty unique and definitely worth playing the same mission over and over a couple times. To get to mastery level 20 you need to grind a bit but usually you only need to do about 80-90% of the challenges to get enough mastery xp, so you have some leeway to skip some of the more tedious ones. Also, if you have bought any of the bonus content such as the escalations or secondary missions within the earlier maps, you can complete challenges in them that add to the overall location mastery level. Lastly, if you are looking to just grind out the mastery levels as fast as possible, you should try to get some type of elite guard outfit that's on the map and create a save before doing any of the challenges. To get the mastery xp, you only need the challenge to pop up in the upper corner, marking its completion, no need to exit the mission every time and you can just keep reloading the save file after completing a challenge. If you find yourself stuck, there's usually tons of tutorials available for each challenge (personally recommend checking out MrFreeze2244). Hopefully this explanation helps a little bit :)

@@djrosette It's actual name is "ICA Executive Briefcase Mk II" and you get it at mastery level 13 on the "Isle Of Sgail" map. Definitely recommend playing the mission story's on this one, no spoilers but they are probably one of the more interesting ones in the trilogy. :)
From what I've gathered, there's no way to find the regular HWK21 on any of the maps for free. It's a common rarity item so you should be able to get one from the weapons supplier during missions. Shouldn't cost too many mercer's either.
I believe these were platform exclusives for Stadia players but now that they've permanently shut down the servers, they re-released the items for everyone with these challenges.
My strategy was also construction site start, pick up crowbar, then throw proximity taser for guard, and then throw micro explosive close to the bike, so it rolled to the other side under it, and target investigated distraction from a throw, and then I activated it when he went to the side and with last target i knocked out postman Dale since I was too early there and knocked out last target too and snapped his neck and then I exited with crowbar. I got 01: 34 and Im no. 18 on leaderboards but can't really see how someone got 50 seconds, I just saw run with 53 seconds but 50 is crazy 😂
I personally like to use the proximity taser for guard kills as well but since you have pick up the propane flask from the shed anyway, I just went with the syringe this time. If you let the cutscene play out you can probably avoid knocking out the postman and just kill the last target right before exiting as I did here. Probably won't cut down your time to those super fast runs which if there are legit evidence for, usually involve hitting some ridiculous distraction shots across the map and other serious speedrun strats which I don't usually like to use. :D
@@kapekala Yes, at first I forgot about that propane and used the other one in the yard and that took more time so I tried with remote explosive and bike and it worked, and I thought about waiting for cutscene, but I had a feeling that I was too early there even for that to work, I gave up on tranq since it seemed that would ruin perfect shooter if I try long range one, I think I could have save some time with breaching charge since I don't have to throw flask, and drop micro taser which would also slow down my exit with garbage man start which I also tried. And yes, one run I saw did involve target guard panic shot.
I believe they tried to recreate the model from the original Codename 47, thus the low polygon version of his face as well. Definitely unique compared to the other suits at least :D
Quick answer: no. Long answer: You can unlock about 99% of the items if you were to start now, but there are some time and pre-order limited items that are not available anymore (most of them are basic reskins of previously existing items and suits, so you won't miss anything gameplay wise). If you already have Hitman 1 and 2, that should give you access to those maps in Hitman 3 as well (pretty sure nowadays you get the Hitman 1 and 2 access passes with Hitman 3 anyway, at least on Steam). Now when it comes to unlocks, there's basically 4 different categories: 1. The base game unlocks, which you get by just completing mastery levels on different maps. This includes free escalations as well (small extra missions inside the levels). This type of unlocks you can unlock straight away just by owning and playing the game. 2.. The pre-order bonuses and other limited time items such as the ICA Outstanding Performance Coin (reskin of the default coin, which you got for completing an elusive target mission in Hitman 2016 before a certain date). These can't be unlocked anymore for obvious reasons but they are mostly just skins that have no effect on the gameplay. 3. DLC specific unlocks, such as the Seven Deadly Sins DLC's different suits and other items. There are about 20 different DLC's for Hitman WoA, so it can get a bit complicated but other than the Seven Deadly Sins and Sarajevo Six DLC's, most of them are usually nowadays sold as a bundle to help newer people get into the game. 4. Elusive Target based unlocks, such as the different suit versions you get for each map after you complete an elusive target mission for that specific map. These can be a bit more difficult to complete since they are released for only a certain amount of time at what seems to be a pretty random order. If you are interested in doing these, you can find their release dates on the Hitman Roadmap in the ingame menu or Hitman's twitter. In summary: Other than a few pre-order bonuses and reskins of other available items, you can unlock all the same items in Hitman 3 today as you would've over the 3 years it's been available. Just checked on Steam and they apparently have the Hitman World of Assassination bundle on sale right now which includes the Hitman 1 and 2 games. This should give you access to most of the regular game, apart from 2 maps from Hitman 2 and some escalations. If you are also interested in the other DLC I mentioned before, I recommend waiting for them to go on sale since they can be a bit pricey. Hopefully this cleared things up at least a little bit. :)
Cool/ I didn't know this would be a thing. I don't think I'll follow this specific set up to complete the challenges, but I'll try to beat them to get the suit.

In this video I tried to make an easily repeatable way to complete the necessary challenges but especially in the Berlin mission I was trying to more generally show where people could find some extra explosives since you can only bring 3 at the maximum to a mission and 5 were needed to complete it.
