Your android phone needs to have USB 3.0 which is REALLY rare even in the flagship models... You are lucky to have one, I don't and I still have spend a lot of money on my androind phone with a snapdragon 888 chipset... but still only usb 2.0. Can't believe in 2024 they are still using usb 2.0 that's only good for a keyboard and a mouse...
I appreciate the info. This is what I was looking for, an app that bypasses internal storage and records directly to an external drive. Additionally, PLEASE make a video on your setup. It may already be out there. I will look later.
I used a Samsung S22, with a DJI lav mic plugged into the usbc port. Is there a way to have multiple devices using the same usbc port? And would that impact transfer speeds if I have audio coming in, and video going out over the same port?
Nice!! Finally seeing more reviews on these trucks. Definitely the best ESK8 trucks for me. They make 30mph feel like 20mph!! Im changing all my decks to these eventually. Nice review broski
Thank you bro!!! and what audio quality do you recommend for recording concerts with external mic? default to 192 kbps or 320 kbps? thank you so much...
I ordered the FeelWorld monitor that was suggested but it had no battery or power cord. 😢 I wish that had been mentioned in the video. I'm hoping once I get the connector it will finally work. So far I'm disappointed.
Can you do a video where you test your bushing formula but make yourself weigh 100 kilos? (Heavy backpack/weighted vest) Maybe another video where you show what would be a good formula for someone who weighs 100 kilos?
Hi it's really nice review, but I am bit confused which set up for Traditional Kingpin trucks is best. I am 85kg rider and I was thinking to get Boardside - APS barrel 95a and Roadside - Krank Cone 90..
Great Review! Just seeing this now somehow! Great feedback! Will definitely look into how we can solve the kingpin bushing swap issue. The adjustable arm makes everything a bit tricky but we’ll take a look at it for sure! 4 small spacers are SUPPOSED TO come with the 4wd version. Sounds like we goofed on our 1st 4wd version order and didn’t think about spacers. I’ll have my guys make dedicated 4wd and 2wd hardware bags moving forward! Glad you’re loving them!
I would try them out in the lowest angle also. I found they carve deeper at the low angles because there is more lean in the board for the same amount of turn. I found the minimum turning radius to ultimately be about the same in the different angle settings. The thing that seems to change is the amount of lean the board has. Lower angle equates to more lean to turn = deeper carves. I bet you could run the lower angles and softer bushings and you'd like the feel of that more. That was my experience anyway. I'm coming from DKP also. Worth a try anyway.
Tried that to start with as it was my first time using theses sort of trucks I thought that was the most manoeuverable setting as they leaned more but after messing about changing bushings ect found they definitely turn a lot shaper at the higher angle and you need the right bushing setup that critical
@@rickyeverett good to know! I'll try some cones and try the higher angles again! You mentioned in your other reply that you've gone even softer. What's your current bushing setup?
So I have on the front truck white chubby cone on the front board side and a white standard cone on roadside For the back truck I have the green chubby barrel board side and a green standard cone on the roadside this is very maneuverable but stable at higher speeds I'm about 140/150lbs rider
Was using regular cones then have now switched back to a different setup with softer bushings rides like a dream now for my weight just takes abit of getting used to coming from dkp
Thank you for providing all the details on these trucks and breaking it all down. I am sure Mike and the team watch your video and will implement some of your reommemdations! Looking forward to your next video!
Here is an idea to make the trucks carvier. Have Mboards machine a new baseplate which allows for the use of tall bushings. Normal bushings are 0.6” and tall are 0.75”. It makes a pretty noticeable difference. If you want to go really nuts, you can use a longer kingpin and utilize tall bushings both roadside and boardside.
@@fujio001 nice I have managed to find a setup that's works great ATM good stability up to about 45 mph and very maneuverable 👌🏼 good Ideas there tho thanks 👍🏼
Couldn’t you just get a USB-C to HDMI cable to connect directly to an Android device instead of having that USB-C to HDMI adapter?!? Or does the adapter do something specific?!?
My iPhone only works sporadically with my Feelworld monitor. It works sometimes and other times I simply can’t get it to mirror whatever I do. Can you help?
Evolve is Apple of e-skating. Behind the competition in many aspects, but looks nice, has a great marketing department, and a bunch of dumb followers defending their favourite money-grabbing company like their lives depend on it.
I want to see what hub you used so external audio and external monitor is used at the same time. I would usually have to use a screen mirroring device (MiraCast) to acheive this because the hubs I use are too big or require external power to properly run.
Man if you made a video using mcpro24fps and using the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and all of its lenses, that would be awesome. I currently have the S22 Ultra and mcpro24fps and i love it. I know the Xiaomi would be a huge upgrade especially with mcpro. So yeah if you made a video about I would really appreciate it. Great video btw!
No worries I'll make a video using it it's an absolute beast of a phone for video and photography everything works brilliant with MCPRO24FPS and all the lenses ect really happy with the results I'm getting out of the phone
