I'm so happy that you made this video! I have an s20 ultra and I assumed that I could connect a monitor to it (ordered it yesterday) and now I'm much relived that my assumption was right.

Do you have issues filming with the S20? I keep trying to film with my husbands and OMG it's such a PAIN! Hence why I have stuck with my S9 :-p

@@rickyeverettcheers! slick ricky my problem is i have connected note 8 from android Usb-c to hdmi [in] field monitor [Neewer model] I got image but when i turn on my camera it only does portrait it wont flip to landscape.view? when i go to main screen it works both landscape & portrait just not in my pic gallery/video on my phone

What 3rd party adapters would you recommend for Apple? Brand wise I mean. I haven’t had the best luck with 3rd party adapters for Apple.

Probably best to just go with apples adapter as iPhones can sometime be abit funny with things like that 👍🏼

Did your dongle have mic input? I couldnt get hdmi and mic input at the same time and its a big problem to connect microphones if the phone does not have a 3.5mm port. So instead i had to use a wireless hdmi solution and used my usb c port for audio. Its usable, but a rather complicated solution.

Just seen your comment dude yes you have the right solution there, I agree it’s a rather complicated way of having to do things but at least it works I wish you could just be able to ply them both in at the same time would be so much easier

Your android phone needs to have USB 3.0 which is REALLY rare even in the flagship models... You are lucky to have one, I don't and I still have spend a lot of money on my androind phone with a snapdragon 888 chipset... but still only usb 2.0. Can't believe in 2024 they are still using usb 2.0 that's only good for a keyboard and a mouse...

I want to use one for photographing low to the ground without having to crouch. My fantasy is to put my phone at the end of a selfie stick and then monitor the composition with a secondary display.

You can't change the setting on the phone app via the monitor the monitor is the simply for monitoring your video making sure things are exposed properly and a bigger more flexible screen for viewing your video maybe in the future that will be the case but unfortunately not at the moment only monitors that cost thousands have the ability to control Camera setting directly from the monitor so hopefully in the future that tech will become available in lower end ones 👍🏼

My iPhone only works sporadically with my Feelworld monitor. It works sometimes and other times I simply can’t get it to mirror whatever I do. Can you help?

I want to do this using two phones... Both phones have USB type c connectors. Is it possible? I've been going crazy trying it, seems like it should be possible, but no luck so far!

How would I connect the monitor and a Rode Mic to the USB-C port on the S21 Ultra? Can that one port handle both devices at one time? I would love to have a USB-C to HDMI w/ two additional USB-C ports. One for the wireless rode mic and one for charging. Is anyone doing that?

Couldn’t you just get a USB-C to HDMI cable to connect directly to an Android device instead of having that USB-C to HDMI adapter?!? Or does the adapter do something specific?!?

Yes you can but then wouldn't be able to connect a microphone and charger ect to it at the same time 👍🏼

It’s called cinema pro but it’s only on the Sony phones, you can’t download it onto any phone unfortunately

No it isn't that simple. Your phone has to allow screen mirroring. I have Samsung A21 and it is not working.

maybe the usb connector on the phone doesn't support monitors, i don't really know about the details or which ones works but i think only some can phones can do it.
