Whaaaaat the f*****ck. I get the the frequency entered and then you start talking about what you want is not necessarily what I want but but what you want might be different from what I want and.... My cheap radio times out. I programmed the frequency in, but can't get to the part where it focuses on that frequency.
sleek looking! Thanks for this idea. That is some thick antenna wire 12g! You recon that this will work with say 18 or 14 gauge? I'm gonna try it using a 5/32 (4mm) drill bit. You know it would have been very helpful had you included some dimensions like; size of the pvc and the length of the piece and the size of the drilled hole. I used 1/2" Sched 40, 4" long and the holes I sized to my cord and my wire. Still a great idea.
Hey mate. Can you do a vid on how to get walkie talkies to transmit to a cb radio? Makes it easier to communicate to people outside the truck in the bush
If this is your emergency plan, it's been nice knowing you. The streets will be littered with these radios. If the 'net goes down, you'll be stuck with a poorly translated Chinese manual for a radio that transmits about three blocks in the city...If you can find it. "What were those 'e-mergency frequencies' again??" LOL!!!
I just get the woman shout CANCEL no matter what i type! Fixed. The frequency range was limited so I had to change the frequency limits using the CHIRP software.
This is the ONLY video I can find that actually explains how to do this. I have a midland handheld here in UK but the menu is almost identical to the Baofeng. Great job bro.
Hi mate ive got two uvr5 i like your video but can you help me i have no i dear how to tune them in to police scanner in wellington new zealand can you help me
Quick question: I have two (2) Baofeng UV-5Rs. I have them set and programed identically the same in the menu. I also have them on the same frequency. When I transmit from Baofeng radio # 1 to Baofeng radio # 2 it works fine however when I try to transmit from Baofeng radio # 2 to Baofeng radio # 1, the Baofeng radio # 1 will not pick up the transmission from the other Baofeng radio #2. SO I cannot hear any signal/transmission from Baofeng radio # 1. Do you think there is something wrong with Baofeng radio # 1?
Like your site here. Quite interesting. I am pretty close to taking the bate setting up a CB unit at home. I am a retired Broadcaster. Any advice regarding what I should buy in gear. thanks Rob
