Generally ear bleed inducing extremely satanic metal. Actually Has a few good songs I've listened to for years. The rest of it is the stuff I like to play when it's time to clear a room of possibly unwanted noise or people. But I've got even worse music that is noise an screaming I've evolved more towards using for that purpose. For it's time their few good songs were pretty good cause BM sucked worse than sex pistols live back then.
Hey, what do you think of this group: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vIqUzrpZoLM.html Anatolian black metal (from Türkyie) with N. Kvartvoth of Shining as bonus vocals ! It's good to have a look through all the countries I find because erzats of Manegarm or Satyricon, it’s just matter but without added value. Funeral Mist is excellent (I prefer that Marduk except "Heaven Shall Burn"...)
I was pretty much annoyed by that long song, so repeatable😅 so I always failed listening this album till the end, anyway thanks, maybe I will check the album
Cool name, awesome band, one of my favorites. I recently introduced a friend of mine to Be'lakor, a couple days later he ordered their entire discography.
These guys got me through a breakup, i was depressed and for some reason listening to his wailing vocals waz cathartic. I love this band very much. The agony in the music is pure.
I still have the first two albums on CD. I haven't listened much to their newer stuff and I'd say that even the first two albums didn't quite work for me. I think I like the idea of what they are doing a bit more than what they are actually doing. All the tracks just sort of blend in together. Having just given the new one a bit of a listen, the symphonic elements of the first two appear to be toned down or removed. The second album is almost a spacier black metal versiom of the Summoning. Anyway, I like the format of going through song by song and actually giving your thoughts rather than the usual reaction videos that review the same songs as everyone else and think everything is amazing.
Adding to my comment 1 favorite black metal band of mine is Psychonaut 4. To me black metal is black metal no matter the sub genre bands fall under. 🤟🤘🤘
I like this. For what I've experienced in my life the past year I've gotten into more Black Metal especially more so on the depressive side. I said I like it I actually love this 1 already being the 1st time for me hearing it. Another 1 I will be on the lookout for. Thank you. Nice to hear this 1. Really cool
DSBM is the best sub genre from someone who came from punk, emo/post hardcore scene etc.. a very nich genre for the most hardcore listeners or even considered overrated this is the kind of mellows and understanding that shows how to feel the music, heavy emotions, pain and very deep philosophical self distructive beliefs of doom etc.. making guitars breath a piece of hell. For some reason from jazz/punk to post hardcore/mellow death you can see overlapping patterns or even create them both recklessness and technical making those artist banging walls and graves like crazy. the dark touchs makes it sweet and rebellionthe sour part that shows how dreadfull and conforting it can take you you can feel it deep down in your damned soul, that´s why is called depressed instead of ambiental but they kinda overlap since depression is a state of mind somehow it mixes with your personality or in nowadays words a Vibe, ambiental energy
I love these guys. Never seem to get tired of them. I'm with you also, Coherence is my favorite record from them I think they can be called prog, yeah. Most of their tracks don't even have a chorus, right? Maybe you disagree due to their mostly even time signatures with only some parts inbetween where they switch up
Had the pleasure to see the boys live when they came for a show (the first) in my backwater country this year. Trauma is the first album I listed and still my favorite as well.
I have been an alcoholic since I was 15 years old. I quit for 9 years at one time. Then I started again and drank for 9 more years. Now I have 10 months sober...I'm 55. Anyway, alcohol is terrible, I hope you stay away from it forever. Heavy Metal for life! Cheers
These folks are not only talented musicians but also genuinely nice human beings. I once asked Shaun about the guitar tuning for one of their songs, and he patiently explained it to me while we chatted on Facebook.
I only found out about them recently due to the song Heroin Waltz from Arson being recommended to me on Apple Music. They’re so good, but I’ve only listened to Arson so far. Great video! Glad RU-vid decided to recommend it to me. I look forward to hearing more Harakiri for the Sky and watching more of your videos
Countless Skies is "The Song". Perhaps the most meaningful melodeath songs for me come from this band. I first heard them about 12 years ago. I still hope they come to Mexico one day*. *It happened with Insomnium in 2019, and they are back this year in a few months.
