Hello!
This time I have a different video. Hopefully it inspires you to learn more about music and you take my humour lightly.
*About fact 5:
The term classical music is refereed to all the centuries I mentioned, but it should be referred as just music of the x century/era.
Also, there are many sub-eras of course, and the eras do blend with each other.
I like talking about music, and I currently make videos on metal bands. If you are also a metalhead, check my other videos!
Backround music: Bela Bartok - Music for Strings, Purcussion and Celesta, II
If you want to follow me around, I am posting about metal on my:

1:48 Good content, gives me a flashback when I was still in highschool. We talked about romantic era and immediately fell in love with every Chopin's masterpiece especially his nocturne musics like "Op. 9 No. 2". I really like the ups and downs of the music with a bittersweet tone. It feels sad at the start like missing someone special. But then the music becomes beautiful and hopeful feeling like remembering happy moments together. I really like the idea of combined sadness and sweetness, no lyrics involved but definitely can relate

I totally agree on the lyric part. I can always imagine, think my own stuff while listening to instrumental music 🎵

I'm learning guitar right now and I want to start learning music theory but I have no idea where to start, should I just google a book to go buy?

I’d say look into music theory books yes, look at the reviews, and I say that books are better, (or online courses) because if you just watch RU-vid videos you’ll probably get confused. In books the information has order, so if you follow it you’ll have a better understanding of how it works!

@@BishopShotgun I am a big fan of working with teacherS, but if you are on your own: Unfortunately I was educated by greek authors, so the first recommendations are based on a little research of what other musicians say, and I think the following composer/professor is a well respected and educated man. I’m talking about Walter Piston with the book Harmony.
Many say that the book is great for beginners, so if I was starting now I would definitely purchase it and give it a try. ‘’Tonal Harmony: With an Introduction to Post-tonal Music’’ by Dorothy Payne and Stefan Kostka is another one that I would buy, and its always good to read more than one book, even at the same time, everyone has something new or different to say.
The best of the best methods though, is to have by your side the Bach Chorales. There’s not much theory or analysis in there, but in order for you to understand better, you have to see and listen to the theories in real life, with examples, and this book is exactly that. There are more than 400 chorales in there, with 4 voices each, so you can analyse and play with them, or even try to write your own, and locate the rules that the books mention. Great way to learn.
Other than that, if you have access to a music store, talk to the staff there, they might know a great book that I don’t, and also, trust the Thomann website.
 Hope this helps!

I didn't know much of what you were talking about but I swear I could listen to you talk for an hour about stuff. I'm sure I'm not the only one!

You're cute. You'd get more than 5 views if you covered bands more than 5 people have even heard of 😜
