It would be cool if the AT-ST walkers / IF-TT tanks / speeder bikes were actually playable, not just background decoration, even if they're just available as turrets. I remember the Republic Commando mod from a while back that was set on board a Venator Destroyer, and there was a stationary AT-TE on the map that couldn't walk, but you could man the turrets of it. There could even be some tanks outside the Imperial facility, walking around or hovering in the swamp areas.
Night sisters are back in canon anyway. The Clone Wars tv series had them. The Jedi Fallen Order game has them. Lots of previously EU stuff like the Dark Troopers from Dark Forces and Thrawn from the books have worked their way into the new canon.
How the heck do you have the Windows Classic/95/98 skin inside of Windows 10? I wanna know! I have Translucent TB and StartisBack for the Aero look in Taskbar, but I can't change the Window borders and close/minimize/maximize buttons.
Lol kobe moment, they really overshot that. I'm really glad they halved the file size because that was fking dumb to have 60 gigs for what was a 2-3 gig game.
This map is gorgeous! Just out of curiosity, is it a thing/possible to install multiple BF2 game files on my soft-modded 2TB OG Xbox and have each BF2 base game file have a different mod FTP’d over it? That way I can have all the Xbox mods loaded on my hard drive without worrying about the 64 map/level limit for one game file?

Anyone else facing an issue where there seems to be a modded map limit for SWBF2 CC? It seems if I put too many maps in the addon2 folder the game simply won’t launch. I don’t think it’s a map issue as if I use the maps a couple dozen at a time it works fine. Please let me know if I’m not alone. :)
ive tried following this vid doesnt look like i can access 0 patch anymore so mods dont work for me if not that idk what im doing wrong i followed this vid exactly for bf2 remaster and bf3 mods
Does a mod exist to add other voice language to the game ? for some reason there is only english voice while other version were having french spanish etc :(
Hey i was looking around if there are any decompilation projects for the classic Battlefronts and found a Reddit post where someone said that the Classic Collection would be pretty easy to decompile because the devs compiled it without any optimization which means the code is very clearly readable. Would be interesting to know what you think about that. Guess there is still a silver lining to this rushed release if true.
Shame that the few BF1 modders don't want to support the re-release. I think the online is much better in this just for the fact that its no longer locked to 30FPS.
The previous steam version wasn't framerate locked. In fact, that's exactly why the issue of the spinning tanks persisted. Only one has decided to try and support it, but I feel my time is better spent elsewhere, making mods for the version of the game I know works properly.
@@giftheck Are you sure? When i played the OG version online a few years ago online , i could have sworn it was locked to 30FPS, offfline isn't but online is. Also being able to play these custom maps and mods in splittscreen would be pretty cool too.🤔
What I want is Aspyr to be banned from game development, the evidence points to zero quality, theft, and fraud. These people can’t do proper work and going for the cash grab and then running.
Hello, I'm Danny and I do gaming streams. I found out that you could use the in-game .lvl and the other old files plus the old 1.3 patch strings to build a patch that runs on the new version. It just needs to be adjusted, as far as I know, that's not enough I'm not a programmer, but I'm going to upload a video where I have the old menu from the classic collection and everything from Battlefront 2 Classic, so it would also be possible if you adapt it to play other mods, including the legacy mod from you and that would be great ^^
Please it wasn't an attempt or anything to advertise. I just wanted to help and bring ideas to keep the classic collection alive because I love the collection but instead of just watching the video or replying you seem to be ignored. It's a shame, well then have a nice day
