After having to fix the foundation on my house because of tree roots . 15k in repairs and no trees within 20’ of home . All my fault , 10 yrs ago the trees were a lot smaller and I could have removed them my self avoided all the damage .

Big Project and it will look great when done. I love watching the progress. I will say though that all that excavation work around those trees might kill them. I see it all the time as a forester and an arborist. People have the best intentions to leave trees around the property, but a few months after all the work is complete the tree dies. Now they have to get a contractor to remove the trees so close to their new home or business. Parking or digging around more than 1 side of the tree is usually the issue with compacting or cutting the roots. Just keep an eye on the trees and look for signs such as brown or red needles. If you have concerns consult a local ISA Arborist.
This guy sensationalizes everything. He doesn't care about his audience and will do anything for views and money. Never once have I heard him thank his subscribers for enabling him to buy / flip / build houses and have the life he does.
Quick way to do scallop detail is to trace circles from the same object. then halve them with a straight line. Cut one scallop out completely, and use that one as a template to cut the rest with a router.
A solution to the first door would be to glue a full piece of plywood to the back and use a flush router bit around the edges or just run it down a table saw on each side.
