Even the bystanders want you to know about your change. That's how filipinos are. They are honest and will treat you as your peer even if you are a foreigner
Not all Filipinos. I don't think us locals are qualified to claim that we are honest in general because we are biased at our own race. That's gonna mislead tourists, and we've had cases of fellow Filipinos stealing from tourists.

thats not true, Im half pinoy and half scottish but I lived here in ph all my life, I look mopre foreign than pinoy but I speak fluent tagalog, I always get scammed in markets or taxis but when i start speaking tagalog they lower the price lol, its happened to me at least 40+ times in my life

Yes kwek-kwek is my favorite too, it's very delicious, also kikiam, isaw and betamax which I call dinuguan omg I miss the Philippines hopefully I'm going back to there this August
When my daughters were in college, kwek kwek was an affordable snack, my 'pantawid gutom', something to stave off hunger pangs during my 2 1/2 hour commute. It is still my comfort food today.
The fact that people are surprised in the comment section, lower class Pinoys are underestimated in their English speaking skills, sometimes by themselves but most of the time by middle and/or higher class.
a good freshly fried kwek kwek is addicting even if its hot. glad u ate half of it and not eat one whole in your mouth. cause i do, and just endure the pain lmao. a good snack to warm a hungry stomach
This is nice you can’t get lost in the Philippines because anyone can talk english, unlike in other countries they don’t know how to speak in english just like other pageant contestants they even still need an interpreter 😂
bro, you usually only use po on someone who's older then you. like an uncle or auntie or Granny and grampa. weird if you say it to someone your same age or younger.
