My question is what if you are a painting company (only licensed as so) and let’s say you want to broaden your umbrella for client that wants let’s say carpentry work ( which you are not licensed for) but it falls under construction umbrella let’s say. You want to take the contract is that where getting subcontractors get into play?

Ok, so if my business is a specific niche (Glazing/installation of windows) and I am having trouble finding bids, I can adapt and adjust and try to cater to what government bids may be available (landscaping bids/athletic training bids/cyber technology bids, etc.) to possibly be a bridge in catering to what the gov. is looking for and needs, while at the same time becoming a general contractor who does business with the gov., even though it may not be my certain field of knowledge? What is the best way to approach a proposal bid that has little or nothing to do with what I am familiar with?

Hi! I've been binge watching your videos all night--just signed up for the free course (to get my feet wet) I have an independent freight dispatching company and a credit repair company. I am still waiting on my DUNS for the dispatching company. My question is, do I need to create another LLC to do government contract consulting? Or would I be able to act as a consultant servicing various industries even though my NAICS are for trucking (484121, 488510) I'm seeing quite a few opportunities and sources sought that I could find potential businesses for but wanted clarification on whether or not I should only be looking for transportation/logistic opportunities since that’s what my business is? Or when I register in SAM and DSBS do I just add any/all related NAICS codes and proceed to find subcontractors, etc.
