The ladies said Max is ganteng. "Handsome." Hahaha! Fried fish, sayur asam (sour soup) and sambal, for me, is heaven. One missing is kerupuk. I also like tahu aci or usually called tahu Tegal. Better with sambal kacang (spicy peanut sauce).

We indonesians suck at promoting our food, culture, heritage etc. We suck not because we are such an incompetent people, but cus most of indonesians live by the day. We are laid back, and thankful for every little single blessings. So many dishes from south east asia find their roots in indonesia. But somehow other nations always try to take credit. Not only food but other stuff as well such as art, music, music instrument, culture and what not. Oh well..it is what it is. Just enjoy our food, and thanks for showing us to the world. Like luke martin, he tried lakso bogor style, as it turned out he likes "our" laksa better than singapore ones. But no soul (except indonesians) even knew we have laksa.
@@dailymax24 yea, i saw that. Other factor why indonesians stuff arent that well known, is the fact that we indonesians tend to stay in our home country. Indonesian diaspora in the states and europe is quite small. Only in holland there is a Significant amount of indonesians, cus of the history between holland and indonesia. Thats why you will see many indonesian restaurant/take away in holland. So max are you heading to other parts of indonesia as well? Sumatra? Sulawesi?
Thanks to youtube. I found these recent years many foreigners make content of Indonesian culinaries. So other people want to taste it directly and come to Indonesia
