Guys. I want you to think about something. As a welder of 30+ yrs I keep seeing all you youtuber influencers doing the same thing. So whats the process of plasma cutting? Basically a superheated stream of air that is atomizing the media you are cutting and spraying it away from your kerf, thus seperating the pieces. Correct in laymans terms, if i had to explain it to a newbie? So have you looked under your table below the slag path? There is an electronic machine thats got a fan cooling it sucking in all that atomized iron and other ferrous materials directly into the case. Maybe its just me, but i have always kept my machines above my cutting/welding tables so I'm not blasting shavings or slag into them. They don't tend to work well when they short out.
Not likely they will see this comment, but you are 100% correct. This happened to my plasma like 15 years ago, got too much metal dust up in it and shorted the circuit board. Expensive lesson.
Ooooh that's a great point. I keep some 3D printers in the same space as my metal cutting equipment. I don't have much choice given my living conditions, but I will isolate and filter my printing spaces for now!

You should look for at least 7°angle for a U-joint, with both ends at the same angle and phase/yoke alignment. If they run straight, the needle bearings gets busted and if the angles or alignment is not correct, the rotational speed will change 4-8 times/revolution. Both ways it makes things vibrate.
Agreed on the two U-joints needing to have the same angle (plus correctly clocked joints), but could you explain what issue needle bearings have with no angle load?

The whole reason im learning all my skills building a retrofitted old EZGO golfcart, with an upgraded electric motor system, is because of this, and you guys. I love it and can't wait to see how you get this to become 4 wheel drive.
Its so nice working on new stuff. When I got my 17 tacoma off the show room floor, coming from a rotted out pathfinder and before that a 93 nissan pickup (litterally called pickup) it was so Premium! First oil change was I was like, wow I'm not getting rust in my eyes when i crawl under and touch anything.
I would like to see or hear steven more often. Or maybe see him learn to drive some stuff. But no pressure! i have a real lack of confidence in my driving skills on the small loader we hace at work. and dont even have my car driving licences yet. So i can really relate to him when he talks about his driving skills.

You guys are awesome! The amazing things you have managed to achieve through this channel is nothing short of incredible. It’s so cool to see how much you have all progressed over the years too, and I wonder what will be accomplished in the next 10 years. I have to say though, you owe your loyal subscribers a lot for the continued support and it’d be nice to see you give back in some way, like free to enter giveaways or something. Even just little things like parts, machinery, tools or vouchers it doesn’t have to be thousands worth. You could also build an email list this way too, which you can promote through so in a way you won’t lose out. I think it’s something that’s often overlooked which is understandable especially with how hard you all work but it’s, in my opinion, a necessity at the level you guys are at. Thank you for all the great videos and I look forward to see what happens next on the channel!
Love the video, love the content: Will's growth as a fabricator has been amazing to witness. I will add that maybe he should do some research on how u-joints work, by making the front half of that shaft nearly straight, and the rear at an angle, it's causing inconsistent speeds as suspensions flex. U joints actually need matching angles front and rear to function properly.

I bought Anthem wheels from Custom Offsets for my F-150. I bought 5 of them with Cooper ATS's that were delivered to my house with a new set of lug nuts and security lugs. It was a great experience.
I recently started listening to the Sent and Bent back catalog. At the beginning of this video I was amazed how well Will was being responsible and really knows what he is doing. Then they drove it without lugnuts and shhhheeeww classic Will.

easy battery mount is drilling a hole for a hook to go through on each side and then getting one of those rubber stretchy tie downs that have the metal hooks on the end. easy, cheep, and works pretty well.

A rock-crawling, fully articulated trailer and tow vehicle. Torque is king. Winch on the trailer and on the front of the tow vehicle. Trailer wheels can be powered and braked. Trailer payload mounting points are also articulated, controlling the position and stabilizing the payload. Bonus points for an all-electric solution that can go at least 50 miles into a rocky mountain trail (another bonus for no less than a mile of elevation change from start to payload site), pull out a pickup truck from the bottom of a 50 ft. hill (at least 35 degree slope) and load it up onto the all-terrain trailer, then head out at night back to the starting point, arriving with power for at least 50 more miles of range while towing the payload, all below 32 degrees F.
Will's attempted egress during the rollover was hilarious XD he tried to get out the window, but gravity won. I think you guys are vastly underestimating what the average bear can endure. 25 miles and a gentle rollover? Yeah, when the chang-li gets "places bears cant even walk", that'll be impressive.

I feel so sorry for you that is going to be a huge nightmare. hopefully you will be able to get rid of it by the time the warranty runs out on it. once you get the four wheel drive under the Chang Li I think you see a noticeable improvement. it was tending to bury the nose in the deep snow. these guys have the life, I would gladly trade lives with them in a New York minute. that's the most fun you can have with your clothes on. this is why GHPC has always been and always will be my favorite premium YT channel for sure. keep up the great work guys.
