But that was back in March…I’ve gotten a lot of these large orders of that price and higher since May 9th. That $200+ you made went dry on you…how many more have you gotten that paid that much?

@@UDMCREATES nothing near that range but I'll get a couple catering orders from DD almost every week that average between $45-80 per order I'm also a catering driver for qdoba so those pay well too. Hourly, plus delivery fee and tip. I'm also on deliverthat. But them orders get snagged quick!

Just the other day, i got a 90 dollar DD order for catering at 6am, from Ihop (NYC) going no more than 3 miles about 6 minutes from pickup, for a 5 dollar cash tip as well. Good orders are out there, But in my market there are way too many DD drivers now. I still make 150-250 a night for 3-4 hours work on DD in NYc , most drivers do also. But our market is crazy. some are making 4-500 for the day shifts. But market is important, we are flooded with 24 hour spots out here, most places outside of NYC close early.

Never made that much with the big 3 and especially in 3 hours. My range was always $18 - $25 before expenses

@@UDMCREATES Thanks for sharing, I will have to watch the interview. To be clear, the orders I'm talking about were all ezcater and I understand ezcater is the one that approves the adjustment pay

Yup, the more drivers who joing, the less u going to make! This delivery model is a failure for drivers in long term

@@UDMCREATES thanks for the video. That’s the biggest gratuity I have ever seen and that’s also true, I have a couple times when either the client or the restaurant cancel the order while I was very close to the restaurant , I got a full payment from deliverthat.

Everything is a learning process… If you were to get another $800 order from that same restaurant I bet you would be better prepared next time around

I also feel if you can fit 4 XL catering bags in your vehicle (utilizing trunk space and back seat, you should be able to take orders that large

@@UDMCREATES Yeah provided there all hot items. If you got a mixture of both hot and cold items that could complicate things. Sense you shouldn't mix hot and cold items together you might not be able to fill a full bag. Also if you got a lot of gallons of tea or coffee or something on the order that's going to take up more space than normal in your bags. I usually use those cheap bags for carrying drinks, but if you got a lot of them it's much easier to just a large catering bag if possible. They were all hot items and had no drinks on the $800 order I did. So none of that applies here, but it could on a future large order. I can fit 4 large catering backs in my back seat. From now on if the order is less than $1,000 I'm going to presume I can do it.

Here’s the difference between your business and my business… My business accepts the jobs that I find worth it for my time and work load Your business wants more money to accept a job… Meanwhile, my business is beginning to make profits while your business is still waiting for what you deem as fair pay for the industry you are in… My business can close shop early and go home but your business will have to stay open late because it’s still trying to make a profit for the day… Look, you may think you understand, but you don’t… DeliverThat is a third party company that receives offers from EzCater then they offer it to drivers like me who have full control of what they choose to accept and keep vs throw it back out to the pool. Whatever money they are making in the deal they created with EzCater is not my business. My business is what they pay me for the jobs they offer my account… Stop worrying about what the company is making and focus on what your company is making. While many are complaining about $2 DoorDash orders, and barely making $20/hr before expenses, I’m doubling and tripling their pay in a fraction of the time they take to make it. Every DeliverThat video I post, these are the only comments you leave and it’s becoming repetitive and annoying to be direct. If you don’t want to use this app to your benefit, don’t…I have many other drivers that love it and thank me very often for sharing it… Check the community tab for the $600 100% tipper…that came from the DeliverThat platform…not DoorDash nor Grubhub nor whichever app that’s your favorite…

Honestly, an enclosed area to transport the food would be ideal but I have heard of deliveries with trucks
