FM is so extremely random that you probably should do the summer transfer window then simulate to the end of the season 10 times for either path. Also, taking the strongest team is odd because you can probably win the league 8 times out of 10 without any transfers.

Hello everyone, I do have a problem with my tactic. Currently playing a mediocre team in the second swedish league, I want to play posession based in an asymmetrical 4-2-3-1, with a Raumdeuter on the left side and a Wide Playmaker on the right. A Shadowstriker as a false 10, to run into the channels and score. The striker is an Andvanced Forward at the moment, but if you have a better idea please say it, since I am not overly comfortable with his scorers, he just does not exist. That is why I thought about playing without a striker at all. The overlapping wing back on the right goes forward so that the Wide Playmaker comes in to structure the play by being the main playmaker. That works pretty well. But the other midfield roles do not. I thought of someone to be creative on the left, a Mezzala on support or something that goes in the same direction. And of course a ballwinner. As I already mentioned, playing without a striker could be an option since the Raumdeuter and Shadow Striker are top scorers at the moment, 3 Midfield roles could be played plus the Wide Playmaker, which I absolutely love. I hope, someone can help me! Thanks in advance!

I would postulate that it has nothing to do with the transfers in. You blew up the starting XI; dynamically that would do so much more than bringing in new players while the AI left the starting XI in place, made a few smaller roster moves, and boom.

did you leave the team pre selected when you went on holiday? cause that's what might have killed your ability to win. I think that if you did this while doing the annoying task of being there before every match and auto selecting the team, and simulating the team (And being there for crisis meetings), you'd have won.

I've got a question probably not connected with the video. So I am in my Tottenham save in like 2026 summer transfer window and I've spent most of my transfer budget with only like £20M left from some late sale. I wanted to buy some more players and my scouts recommended me Jurrien Timber to replace Romero who left and obviously this was impossible due to lack of funds but then I clicked the option to interact with board about buying a player who was worth £76M and Chairman decided to takover negotiations over him and bought him for me. And somehow the club managed to buy a player worth £76M with £20M available in transfer bugdet. So my question is, is this transfer gonna have a drastical effect on my transfer budget in the future transfer windows ?
