Finally some wise words! It doesn’t matter if a tinter tints in a crappy garage it’s the quality that comes out that matters.

I had mine for years without any issues. I initially had them professionally done, but the tint failed or wasn't done properly; there were about two bubbles on my front passenger side window and peeling from the corner on all the roll-down windows.

I like driving around with the windows Down and I’m only tinting my windows to keep some sun out, I picked up a roll of gila 5% and I’m doing the install this weekend. Thanks for giving me the confidence to do it

I use Gila , but it does fade , I used their 2.5'/, film and after 10 months it turned blue after 3 yrs it turned purple

He Matt, I personally would use the back wall for the film boxes, 1 side wall for car windows so people can see what the film looks like on the window, and the other side wall for all your tinting tools. But that is my opinion.

I just put some on today. I’m trying to practice so I don’t think it will be on for long, as I have some imperfections with it

Gila Tint did me well. I don't remember which one I got. It was the best at the time back in 2007. I cheated a bit, I put the tint on the windows while the windows were out for the trucks restoration...lol I tinted all of em on my kitchen table. well 16 years later it's still smoke color. Trucks garaged now the last 6 years or so but it lasted 10 years in the GA sun.

I bought the same stuff to practice with because it is my first time. Have not put it on yet but I was woundering what percent you used ? By the way. What's up from Flint

I have Johnson window film on my car which sits outside in the TX sun and it look totally awesome still after three years. Heard Johnson was not that great but was in a pinch at the time. Go figure.

You mentioned adding touchless to your services, other than some harsh truck wash chemicals I haven't really seen any touchless method get a car even close to clean unless it's just dusty at most. Im curious what your process would be for this service. Do you plan to make a video on it?

I live in the uk and the police stop people with totally blacked out front windows, the police have a device to check the legal % of tint. So my main question is this. What is the best and cheapest window tint i can order from Amazon please ??? There are so many to choose from. I want a 5% black tint for my 2 back door Windows and back window which is curved glass and for the 2 front door Windows and front windscreen with out using a heat gun with say 25% or 35% tint. Any suggestions on what to buy please ?? Thanks

I picked up some basic black magic back in 2016 and in 2020 noticed it started to discolor some. I guess u get what u pay for. MICHIGAN also, lol. Keep up the good videos

I’ve been working part time/on and off at a window tint place for 15 years.You would think I would be a little more experienced than I am ,the guy tried to teach me early on but we would be really busy, he’s got a short temper, and I’m kinda of an idiot/ not a fast learner. But I’ve been tinting more on my own and if I encounter something I don’t think I could tint I just tell them The other guys number. Sorry for long ass message btw. I’m wanting to start tinting more and I own my own cleaning business,so I’m not gonna try to make it my only job.I want to know what you’re favorite brand to tint with? People where I live in Tennessee always want 20%or 5% and of course what length would you suggest along with the brand of you don’t mind if I ask?Im sure you are aware that Walmart/autozone tint is not long enough to tint any rear windshield without piecing it,and I refuse to piece it together so I go buy a piece of tint from the guy I used to work for,and like you say here it turns blue pretty quick while their rear window is mint for a while lol. In Michigan? Didn’t get stopped for the front windows at all? I too live in Michigan and feel every time I have front tint I get popped for it. Technically illegal here but ik a lot of people and even cops don’t care.

Hey Matt, quick question. If this film isnt static applied film, how come u didnt use a heat gun? I know absolutely zero about tinting, that's why I Subscribed😃! So theres tint that use heat/heat guns, some that stick by static, and some that dont use either like this one you applied 6 or 9 months ago. I want to.tint my two front windows on my part time Cruiser lol. P.T Cruiser. But I dont want to spend much. Idk, therea a local Tint spot in Baltimore that quoted me $100 bucks for both front windows , in and out in an hour tops. They have been around for 15 years but I have no idea what quality the film is. 2 windows for $100 total , no appt, in and out. In their defense, they have #15 plus installers working at all times. So I'm sure 2 guys will apply the film like an assembly line. I got a quote for $300 for both windows from a place that only applies 3m ceramic tint. They are more of a quality, not quantity type of deal. They do work on Ferrari's, Lambo's, etc. They do car wraps, whatever that is. Ok, I'm off topic. My car needs real work also , like blinkers fixed, couple front tires so I want something cheap I can try n put on myself. Can u answer my initial question and suggest a real kit n film under $50 bucks for both front windows on my P.T. Cruiser. I want it to match the tint on the back windows. It came with 35% MD law but font know if it's from factory. It's perfect, not a scratch, bubble, crease n the car is a 2003. Any thoughts ? Should I kick out the $ hundo n let a professional do it or pay whatever u suggest n try bbn it myself. Lastly, I dont know if the back is 35%. It looks darker. How can I find out? Thanks.
