This is a podcast interview with $10 million dollar lottery winner Bradley Hahn. He is interviewed by RU-vidr and Powerball winner Timothy Schultz.
Bradley Hahn won $10 million dollars on a scratch ticket from the Missouri state lottery in 2016.
Winning the lottery can be one of the most life changing things that can happen to a person. In this interview, they discuss how it's changed the life of Bradley Hahn.
They discuss what it was like to win, how it changed Bradley's life, and his advice if you win the lottery jackpot. They even touch on how winning $10 million dollars changed relationships and why he chose to claim the prize anonymously.
Timothy Schultz is no stranger to the lottery himself; in 1999, he won the Powerball before going back to college to study journalism and broadcast news. Now a producer with Bullhead Entertainment, he's combining his experience with his desire to launch this RU-vid channel and podcast. This includes interviews with other lottery winners, among other compelling guests!

God was leading him, through intuition and he didn't even know it! He left work tired, yet he stopped at several stores, winning at each one. He won on a scratcher in 2016 and hit BIG, in Las Vegas, in 2017. WOW, I need Divine guidance in my life like that.

He doesn’t think so. He says it’s just pure luck, right place, right time. For HIM I think it’s true. If he strongly believes it’s dumb luck then that’s true for him. When I won $500 a few weeks ago it was inspired action. Kept seeing 555. So I took exit 55 (30 miles from me) and bought three $5 scratchers lol. Imagine winning 8 figures tho! Wow. Inspiring

I was in shock when he said the prize went from 10m down to 3.8m! In New Zealand there's no tax on lottery winnings. You win 10m you keep 10m. Tax is theft.

I know my extended family would be asking for money. They do now. My husband and I have given away thousands of dollars but when he got laid off no one offered to help us except my sister. Now we know not to give away money to family.

Same with us.... some family members are always asking. Currently my hubby and I are not working and struggling to make ends meet. Only my mom, granny and sister help us. I love hearing about LOA techniques but It was great viewing an interview where the winner gave his experience of the nuts and bolts of finding an Advisor and CPA as well as my personal head scratcher question of WHERE to PARK a large sum until I’ve gotten my financial management team in place. So true about people after you win they want your money, it happens even if you don't win. Family and Friends they both do it! That's how you know who is being real and who is being fake in your life. I only associate myself with a very small circle of trusted friends and family. It's a dilemma. I've often wondered how I'd do it. I'd want to be generous with close family of course but my brother barely even acknowledges me on facebook. If he suddenly started being all friendly it would make me cringe.

Wonderful interview Timothy! I didn't know big lottery wire transfers go to brokerage firms. I wonder if a big bank like JP Morgan and its crème de la crème of private banking ($10 million minimum) could handle it for new winners?

@@TimothySchultz tim it is sad but some states like California will not allow you to remain anonymous...i don't like that..its dangerous but there has got to be some loophole around this,that upcoming mega millions jackpot is oner $500 million...i shudder at the thought of the person who wins having to come forward and have all their information out there.I think they should make it legal with all states, players who win have the right to remain ghost if they want too.too many horror studies out there

It's always fun to watch interviews from winners... Great work! Congrats to Bradley and all of the other lottery winners! It sounds like Bradley has a good head on his shoulders and has been responsible with his win... $10 million seems like a great amount once you account for the lump sum reduction and then all of the taxes. My state's lottery never gets that high and scratch tickets aren't worth anywhere near that, so I'll play it sometimes, but I'm usually going for the Mega Millions or Powerball... So much good could be achieved with such a huge win! I know the odds and there is a chance that I'll win, so I go for it! :P

I owned a laundromat...man came in put washing on and said to me...lady can you put my washing in dryer....yes for sure....he came back and gave me a scratchy to say thank you ...put it in cash register...got home that night came across the scratchy ( I had forgotten about ) scratched it and POW 💥 $500 ...the most I have ever won 👍👍👍

I love this man mentality. I have to agree it doesn't matter on the amount of taxes they take it still a blessing. Also money does buy happiest meaning if you become rich today and I know family member struggling or a good friend and gave them money to help them out and the look on their faces will be priceless! It helps take away from the negative opinions of those who say that lottery winners end up broke and worse off. Which is not true and just plain foolish talk. People always use the example of 'You have a better chance of getting struck by lightning than winning the lottery". Duh! That's because most people don't know how to increase their odds. Playing the exact same numbers from the previous game won't help you win a jackpot, because that's never happened before to my knowledge. Not saying it can't though. Now imagine getting struck by lightning in a desert that's had a 5 year drought. Exactly, it won't happen. Stand in the rain, on top the tallest building holding a metal rod, and you've just increased your chances of winning the lightning strike game of being stupid.

The lightning lottery strike can happen to anyone who plays. If you hold a ticket, you do have a chance. I always say to only spend what you can afford if you play the lottery, but to also know that you do have a chance. It can happen.

Great interview! Another positive story about a lottery winner. If I won I'd pay off all my debts, invest, and retire early. There are some places I'd like to visit, but with Covid raging, that's probably not in the cards. One thing he did point out was these luxury items, big house, fancy cars, etc. also have upkeep and maintenance expenses which aren't cheap, so that's something else to think about when winning. I love your channel so much. I remember you from when you appeared on the Lottery Changed My Life ( I wish they bring that show back) and I also saw you one a video on RU-vid (DW Documentary) about lottery winners and from that I found out you had this channel. I love your content because you can relate to the people you interview and also you are so current with new content about the lottery. Most channels outside of yours only tell lottery stories that have already been told many times.
