Rami, Thank YOU for making these interesting and educational videos for us to watch as we work our way into the industry. Earlier today I commented on your Instagram post. Assuming you saw my comment, I'm the guy who's been looking for a new career after a spinal cord injury. Aerial surveys with UAS seem to be a great fit for me. I've been practice mapping for about a year. Having some Emlid gear would really help me start doing some work 🙂 THANKS!

Thanks for all the great explanations you give in your videos. I think I’ve learned more about GPS from you than I did from the instruction. I got when I purchased my GPS equipment. I got my equipment when I set up a dozer with GPS grade control. Since then I’ve been using the GPS equipment more on laying out building sites and drainage tile that I have for controlling my dozer. You were the one that instructed me how to do that getting corrections by my phone instead of setting up a base station. You save me time every time I use my equipment. Thanks again.

Thanks for the shoutout to us at NGS Rami! I just saw the Reach RX at the Pennsylvania surveyors conference, great looking receiver. I'm hoping that Emlid will add GVX Export capability to the Flow app. That would mean anyone with a Reach RX and access to a Real-Time Network (RTN/NRTK) would be able to align their data to the National Spatial Reference System (NSRS) with our OPUS Projects tool.

Awesome work, came across your channel while trying to build a 3D landscape using LIDAR for a small construction project and used some of your pointers for modelling and my interest really piqued after watching your CORS Corrections video. Signed up for CRTN, borrowed a Reach RS2 and off I went for my first survey. Thoroughly enjoying the learning curve and your introduction and comparison of all the tech out there. I've had an RX for a few months now. Great unit, the only downside I've observed is that being so light, it's actually harder to hold it perfectly vertical to record a point than the heavier RS2.

Hey Rami, started as an IMan back in 2013 started running my own crew in 2015. Came into the office and started working as a CAD Tech in 2021 and since I’ve started watching your videos I’ve found myself challenging the industry standard workflows and thinking about how to modernize how we do things. This all ties back to me having decided I eventually want to start my own business and and do each project start to finish on my own. Thanks for all the videos Rami!

We need to get Lat and long on a couple section corners for a timber company in an area that has no cell service and very little view of the sky due to deep canyons and thick trees. We need about 5ft accuracy. I have already ran all the lines with a total station. What are the chances something like this would work for me? I don't do Instagram🤦‍♂️

Hey dude, I'm Markos T of Pender Island B.C, Google my location. Really nice place to live in Canada, basically, the California of Canada. I got a Total Station, shoots laser EDM instead of microwaves. Could you do a video of survey math...the Inversing equation. How to put bearing and distance. How it relates to co-ordinants. Smashed that Like Button and Rang that Bell! My Son leads a survey team around Vancouver, my brother bought him a GPS, big freakn lydar drone. Have excavators. Starting a pin-finding co out here. Do a coordinate math vid if you can. You just say it so well Brutha!

Hi Rami, Thank you for this review and for the giveaway of the Emlid Reach RX. I tried to set up an Instagram account - just this one time to in order to qualify for the giveaway by following you - but Instagram on the desktop failed. Tried setting up an Instagram account on the Android device, failed again. Tried going to your website, and Firefox cautions about going to this site. As a retired land surveyor and former Javad user, the REACH RX looks like a potentially great & **affordable** survey tool to use with Global Mapper Mobile Pro. I would very much love to try it out and perform experiments with it, but living on only Social Security, I can't afford buying anything.
