The more I watch these videos of Pakistan the more I fall in love with the country and it’s people. They are unbelievably humble, honest and hospital. The western media has portrayed an image of the country that it is backward and hostile … thankfully this is just not true.

@@creativeschmuck8132 yes you are wrong. Paying for meal is part of our tradition as we believe if we pay meal for someone it adds barkat to our rizq too. We locals always try to pay for each others meal even in friends gathering, also in Karachi at every main roundabout there are places where people can get free meals as much as they want (generally its for those who can't afford it but anybody can sit there and have lunch or dinner nobody will ask you a question).

Why is it a good? I think they should take money. They work for the money. And why do brown or black tourists not experience same level of hospitality as the white tourists do?

@@Xzimegaming i saw another video by another vlogger where a pashtun man (driver) took money and didnt pay for the food and in the comment section people were apologizing for he took the money and some even said they were ashamed. I mean what the hell, he was on work. He has the right to take money. And why dont you tell me why there is difference on tourist treatment? A white tourist is treated like a royal while a nonwhite is treated more average.

Man i love my country. The best part is most of these local people don't have that much information about vloggers etc. So they show what they really are i.e they keep it real. Generousity and the love is only thing we learnt from Islam not our culture. Our culture was like indian people. Then Islam came and we became civilised like arabs became when Islam came there 1443 years back.

I'm going through the entire Pakistan series and it's crazy how kind and generous the Pakistani hospitality is. Everywhere Luke goes theres always someone there that wants to pay for his meal, or a merchant that wants to give him a gift, this is the true Pakistan that the media will never show you, the people have such big hearts and treat their guests like family. I was curious as to what chai tasted like so I went to my local supermarket to buy some. Granted it won’t be as good as the real deal from Asia, but I can’t stop drinking it 😍
Just boil milk with preferably two black tea tea bags with sugar to taste. To enhance the taste boil the milk all the way till it's about to bubble out of the pot/kettle then lower the flame. Once it goes down increase the flame till it's about to boil out then lower it again. Do this a few more times and you'll tea will have this medium brown color. Enjoy the chai. I usually pour a little more milk than the cup size cause the boiling technique will evaporate some of the milk. I also like pouring half cup water and half milk so the chai isn't super thick. If you can find the brand "Everyday Milk" then that's the best. It's evaporated powdered milk but the chai tastes so good. You'll boil water with two tea bags and add about three to four table spoons of "Everyday Milk" to get this cappuccino style chai. Absolutely delicious. 😁
@@reallyjam cardamom is great if you use regular milk since regular milk doesn't have much of a flavor with "Everyday" milk cardamom will over power the taste of the milk and you'll pretty much taste cardamom. This might be ok if you love cardamom, if you don't enjoy cardamom so much then I wouldn't bother using it with Everyday or any powdered/evaporated milk.

Im originally from Murree, I was born there and left in 2004. I have not gone back since but I appreciate that people from the West are taking the time to explore and understand just how amazing of a place it is still! I dont remember much else other than the cable cars that would take you on and off the mountain hills, as well as Usmania hotel, but I want to go back and explore so much more for myself someday!

Our family used to have houses in Muree, holiday homes. I went to muree in 2019 after 19 years. Its amazing. We ate somewhere simar for breakfast, roadside, the man had like a restaurant set up at the back of his house. We had paratha and omelette and it was amazing.
U can still pay and say u pay in front for the next hungry customer, they can not deny u that. They will have to explain the next customer or not whatever, that is how i deal with such circumstances.

Luke you should visit Azad Kashmir, it is still unexplored by western vloggers, there are many places to be explored like Mirpur, Neelum Valley, Taobut, Rawalakot, Muzafarabad, Bagh, Kotli, and many more. You will be amazed to see the beauty of Azad Kashmir.

Ofcourse but the way they trick people into paying it is wrong. They should clearly say the price before instead of deceiving people into it then telling them a big price at the end, it is not about the money it is about manners and respect, if it was me i would have refused to pay as they lied. Also at the breakfast place they clearly tried to rip him off too as they would not tell him the price before and were waiting for him to eat so he would have to pay whatever price they make up
@@ProblematicBitch if u were a mountain person means you were somone living in the mountains of Pakistan, you will know that they actually said so that he won't be able to pay. He won't tell him the price of what he ate so that he can't pay. That's how we are when it comes to hospitality. And hence as a pure PAKISTANI i can assure you 110% that they weren't going to rip him off.
