In Mexico we call that drinking "pajaretes" when we go early in the morning to drink cow or goats milk straight from the animal to the cup. With some sugar, chocolate, and sugar cane alcohol (96proof). Amazing.

@@a.........1._.2..__..._.....__ a million times different. The milk comes out at the cows body temperature....so its nice and warm. The trick is in the person milking the animal...its kind of an art. They lower your cup in order to aerate the milk and u end up with this frothy delicious warm, pure milk. You should try it at least once. Unfortunately its frowned upon in this country due to its lack of pasteurization.

I make this almost every weekend. 2 eggs in a nest. I cut them out with a glass. Then use the 2 left over cut outs and make a mini grilled cheese. The cheese gets cut out with the same glass.

its incredible to think that, those fancy eggs would be paid around 5-8 dollars on their own in a good restaurant, and the only diference between it and a normal boiled egg is that it is undercooked

Can you do an experiment for reverse sear? Method 1 - sous vide at 135° Method 2 - stove at 250-275° Method 3 - toaster oven Method 4 - indirect charcoal grill heat at 250-275° Method 5 - Air fryer (if possible?)

For the cheap version, try buttering the bread before you cut out the middle, then cook that piece up when toasting the 'basket'. You can then dip it in the yolk when eating the rest.

I did a variation of this dish with chicken and 1 egg yolk per slice of bread, and it came out AMAZINGLY!!! I also made a sauce using the juices from the chicken mixed with sour cream and chicken bouillon, and it took it to a whole new level. Thank you for the inspiration!

The egg yolk toast idea comes from a Michelin restaurant ran by Daniel Boulud. Not sure if original, but you recreated it well.

Fun fact: Michelin egg got its CUSTOMMADE ruler for the chef to cut the bread to equal sizes !! Also the recipe is done by Chef Jean George!
