UPDATES... Lots of struggles with this motherboard. It looks great "on paper" but is not very well executed. You might want to look at alternatives. Also, the 120mm "DeepCool" 3-pack ARGB fans in this video are no good... The fans are supposed to have a 4-pin fan header plug at the end of the daisy chain adapter. However, there are only 2 active wires on that 4-pin header plug instead of the 4 standard wires so they just run full blast. Replaced with 120mm "Be Quiet" fans and updated links for you. The 140mm "Be Quiet!" fans shown are awesome so far. Please note the included fan hub is only for the ARGB signal, not the fan power/speed headers. So you still need to plug those into individual headers. Those do not daisy chain without a separate adapter. Link for adapter in descrip. I also swapped the TC Create RAM for a higher model due to inability to overclock them past 4000mhz. Updated link for you. Also, I decided to add a WD Black 1TB SN770 NVMe M.2 2280 1TB PCI-Express 4.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive as my primary windows and application working drive for better performance, and use the cheaper 2TB as bulk storage. Both are working well so far.
yea the 4060ti 16gb is for very specific small set of people to buy.... and unfortunately i fell into that category... i needed a card 21 cm max length and i needed more than 8GB VRAM... just for my projects... and i needed CUDA cores... so AMD was out of the running since i didn't want to fiddle with the translation crap to AMD cards.... and the only few cards that meets the requirements were from MSI and Gigabyte 4060ti 16GB.... its the worst card to buy but unfortunately its the only card i can buy since that SFX 4070 is not even guaranteed to come out in my country nor is it out yet....
I hear you... it's not a bad card by any means [we are always getting marketed with something "better"]... I'm just encouraging people to look at more than just the RAM spec. And I tried to run a hacked version of SDXL on my old AMD 8gb GPU and it was an endless series of failures. After countless hours of messing around in the command line, I could only do CPU rendering, and it took all night to spit out an image. Hence this new build... a "low budget" rendering workstation.
