An absolutely and amazing story to share, I am about to go bankrupt and life right now doesn't look good at all. The problem with life is that people don't fake suicide, they fake happiness.
@michaelrobinson9643
@michaelrobinson9643 5 месяцев назад
Nico I hope you aren't contemplating suicide. If you are PLEASE reach out to someone who can get you out of that mindset and safe in the immediate sense. I've been there - PTSD, Depression, loss of career, loss of business, reputation attacked. It felt like all of what made me worthwhile and "Me" was crushed or taken away. Men can be very pragmatic about suicide, seeing it as a rational decision but that end isn't worth it and I hope you have good support around you, can see you are worthwhile to those who need you; whatever has taken you to bankruptcy, I hope you can see that too as separate to yourself. If you are managing it just with some stress and see it just as a blip - that's great to hear... but I'm not sure anyone really does so if you are trying to tough it out and keep the strong/stoic exterior for family or whatever... get some help for you.

This has been my favourite podcast so far. I think that just having 2 guys interview reduces the unnecessary commentary. Sometimes I just switch off when one of the panellists just parrots something being said - unnecessary echo chamber. This was sweet and some great digging into the moments of significant change for a solid Aussie hardworking dude.

What an extraordinary story - this man has been through more deep shit than a Taronga Zoo keeper and still he didn't reach for the Arrowroot biscuits. Instead he got on his Chinese made horse and rose up again. This really highlights just how hard business can be and how hard it can be to survive. A master class in resilience, inventiveness and just how big the rewards can be if you are willing to persevere. Somehow knowing that someone has been through far worse makes your own difficulties seem small. The blue pill or the red pill it's your choice.

Tim, I don't think I would have kept going after the setbacks you encountered so you're a legend in my book. But also, you must have an awesome wife, and life partner because without them I am not sure how it may have turned out for you, so a huge congratulations to her. I recently before Xmas had to order multiple lengths of grates for external use and unfortunately I didn't know about your company. I was forced to order off the shelf and modify the item elsewhere to meet my deadline. It cost me double, so there is a definite need for your product. Congratulations again. And another great podcast from the boys at Unemployable.

Hey legends! Wow my fav episode so far!! This podcast is going to be a rocket ship and I really hope that as you take off, you don’t lose your secret sauce which is having down to earth, relatable but truly amazing guests like Tim that have such genuine, warts and all business stories and lessons to learn from! I have zero doubt you will gain the viewership to have household name business guests on the pod, but it’s the Tim Dawson’s of the business world that I think will deliver the best engagement! To supplement my humble perspective above, I think Adam and his dream team could take some good insights from this video> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-uE1GuFQHxSE.htmlsi=j5mURx8I5HN8fJZi

@michaelrobinson9643 5 месяцев назад
lol, I was thinking of that cycle of podcasts when you mentioned the secret sauce and then watched the video to see it so neatly represented. I don't know a way for most pod-casts who interview to avoid the trap of revenue stream formation through sponsorships or affiliate arrangements (get your longevity drinks into you Dan!) which then needs sustaining by content when the breadth of content runs out. "bigger" guests for DOAC and MW has mostly just meant more controversy or more bankrolled with more biassed position.
@Wonderish403
@Wonderish403 5 месяцев назад
@@michaelrobinson9643 MW Chris isn’t so much biased as too scared to form an opinion, imho. He ridicules red pill and is scared of Sigma males. I reckon most entrepreneurs would be Sigma, for sure. Totally underrated! Both DOAC and MW are following Rogan’s MO of bringing in experts yet remaining on the fence. It’s super boring. I have a lot of respect for James PT - he made a very bad call regarding jabs, but was able to humbly admit his error. Takes guts to do that when you’re in the public eye.
