I like the enthusiasm Olie always brings to the videos, especially in this type of exhibition bikes..... I think the Aston Martin bicycle box alone is worth my entire bicycle.
I like the Lotus integrated grime collector. It's going to be fun to clean out the inside of the frame and the motor after a ride in the wet. In the wet the motor will be water cooled!
its a 25k€ limited e-bike.. The buyers will use it maybe once for a good weather ride along the river and then it will be kept in the start-up office as a trophy of wealth. So it doesn't really matter. Also why hide a battery in a bottle, if you show the motor anyway?
The attention to detail on the AM/JL bike is incredible. The badging is exquisite. Would need two, one to admire and one to actually use every opportunity possible.
@Nonkel_Jef you don't ride 20 thousand dollar bikes through the rain. Luckily, at that price, it prices out all the low iq people who would do just that.
2 bucket washing and rinsing system. 1 bucket with clean warm water and a second bucket for rinsing the brushes and cloths and mitts in. Also, pre wash the drive train. Used a regular garden hose to wash everything off👌👌
Totally agree. Looks pretty but is fairly useless in reality as once you get to 25kph your mates will sail off into the distance on anything other than a steep hill.
Did i understand correctly that the Canyon speedmax track bike will be used bij The Netherlands ? They ride Koga bikes for more then a decade> Koga developed a bike specifically for there sprinters firtst for the Olympics in Peking and they latest model for Tokyo
The Aston Martin/Laverack bike is probably the first super luxury bike you've covered which I actually wouldn't mind having. I don't think I could bring myself to ride it, though... Still...a standard Laverack is my dream gravel bike.
@@roadcyclist1 I think you'll find that it does. I also think you'll find that you're completely mistaken in what you believe is your understanding. Obviously I AM saying people should be allowed to buy expensive items, i.e. bikes, and principally ME. My current bike is already pretty damned expensive thanks, as is my ultra-high end German car. According to BikeRadar, it will be the USA and Denmark riding the Canyon Speedmax. That mineral water must be pretty strong. Or maybe the new fitter-than-ever Ollie has also a pro cyclist’s low tolerance of alcohol.
Ollie is a character and I i guess I i have a soft spot for him because our youngest, who is probably around Ollie B's age, is also named Ollie. I enjoy Ollie's enthusiasm for the automotive-linked superbikes. Two corrections on the report: Emerson Fittipaldi win his first world championship driving a Lotus Type 72 and the United States will be using the Canyon track bike in Paris.
The down tube with the motor is still huge and it is good that it is only 300g but the battery will add most of the weight. Cooling is interesting. Whoever who called motor cheating in a normal size road bike tube in the 90s should look at modern technology in 2023 and we are on iPhone 15 and there is no smart phone back then 😅
Only an idiot would spend $25k on a bike and ride it through the mud. This is why they priced it out of your range...so people like you can't afford to do dumb things with it.
