It crazy how over time i’ve ended up replacing almost all my detailing products with superior products. They really are superior if you have a business because you can’t beat them for the price, and i’ve never used anything from them i’m not impressed with. You can get the products within a day from o’reilly free shipping. You just can’t beat them, i’m not surprised in the slightest this is the company you ended up let be your sponsor. Great choice Luke!
I have a hometown company very similar to Superior, it’s cheaper, better and stronger than the comerically available stuff, go look for local chemical shops they are great to pick up some superior doesn’t offer
Superior products are fantastic. Just take caution using dark fury on paint even if the car has a ceramic coating. 99% of the time, it's great but you may clean a black ceramic coated suv and you may end up having to polish and recoat the car due to chemical staining. Even though you only had a dilution of 8:1 and you have used it 100 times with zero issues.
@yokev4132 ya, but only on one vehicle. The dilution I was using was 8:1, and I didn't think much about it because the vehicle was ceramic coated. I had ended up lightly staining the coating(you could see chemical runs in certain lighting). Turns out the coating hadn't had an annual maintenance in 3 years. I fixed it all free of charge so everyone was happy.
I have used Superior products for 13 years as an enthusiast detailer and have been looking to expand my passion into a business. Good to see some positive reviews from the professional side on a product I trust.
Good video. I enjoy the Range of Superior products. My only challenge, is ghost streaking that comes from Dark Fury on Paint even wet or in cool weather. Seems like it strips natural oils on paint. Product is diluted about 5:1 and rinsed after about 30-45 seconds in the shade. Don't ever do it in direct sunlight!
Road Warrior looks like it might be a good replacement for Bilt & Hamber Autofoam. It's a great product, but it's expensive and shipping costs to the US don't help. RW looks like a US version, but at a lower cost. Will have to give it a shot when I run out.
Dark Fury is no joke. Takes off bugs and grime like crazy! I just had an unusual use for it this morning. My wife used some kind of body scrub in the shower that must've gone bad. It gunked up and started solidifying. It was thicker and harder than tree sap. I use a different bathroom so I didn't know about it. After a few days she let me know. I sprayed a combo of Dark Fury with Road Warrior and it lifted that gunk off with a small amount of agitation. This is in my arsenal always ready to use.
How would have loved to see how much of the result was done by the product compared to the result of it from just the pressure washer! I feel like the pressure washer could have possibly removed the black stuff off of the paint without the product being on it but I could be wrong. Would have loved to see a side by side of just the pressure washer vs the product and the pressure washer.
I have all the other brands. As much as i go to O'Reilly's I never thought to use their detailing products but i know a lot of people who speak highly of superior products.
Road warrior… you said diluted heavily 10:1 or 15:1. That’s a light dilution, for,a,foam cannon. Was that an mis speak? How much road warrior in a foam cannon, 2oz?
Luke, you and Chelsea from Attention 2 details turned me onto superior over a year ago. And I just finished replacing my old chemicals with superior products. It’s challenging for me to get them, I have to go across the boarder (I live in Canada) and then order them on the phone to an oriley, go pick them up and bring them back. But it’s so incredibly worth it, they work better, they save me time, they save me money, and they make the vehicles look beautiful for literally less than half of the cost for me to buy other brands here in Canada. I’m honestly half tempted to try their ceramic coating
Yes, these are great products. I include technician choice ceramic detail as final rinse . That is to make sure all the heavy products are neutralized on the paint. I have been doing this for years. Great video!
This brings me such righteous joy! I've always used Superior Dark Fury and it cleans ANYTHING with little to no effort required and the price can't be beat. Every time I see these hyped up adds for expensive and 'powerful' detailing chemicals I blow them off knowing I already have the best. Definitely going to be trying out some of their other products now.
I love this channel. I ordered a gallon of each product from Superior and it arrived today. Putting them to work tomorrow on a customer’s 2500HD Denali. Looking forward to the time savings. $$$$
Thanks for another great video, this was special, what an amazing find. I’m a backyard detailer, black van , no shade. These products can easily replace a myriad of all the other job specific products. Thanks
I use the formula 4 on my ceramic coated customer vehicles when I wash em. Works great. Cover all works great. Super shine ii is great on the motors and tires too. Scrub n suds is great for cleaning the carpet and seats. Zap it is amazing. My go to is pink perfection 4 to 1 to clean the interior
I have used dark fury for two years going on my third. I also use the pump sprayer. 5-1 or 8-1 dilution. First off it works. Great tire and wheel cleaner. Second is price. I buy the gallon container. Inexpensive product compared to other wheel and tire cleaners. I recommend this product. I have not used other superior products, so I can’t comment on those.
I really like this fellow and his tips: BUT: I have to slow down the RU-vid speed of his videos in order to fully comprehend what he's saying in warp speed. Slow it down my friend - or, I'll buy you a box-o-wine to help you. In the end, you provide great content and I appreciate you sharing 'warp speed language dude.' :) Cheers!
I mobile detail and as a result I end up getting clients who ask me to pressure wash decks /houses or in some cases concrete at the business they happen to own. This led me to try a Turbo nozzle on my pressurewasher gun. Sure enough it works much better than any standard tip on rougher textured surfaces. Trying it on cars of course and Found the turbo nozzle being better on wheels , Tires and Under fenders /truck beds and rocker panels /bug infested grills than any of the standard tip. Definately worth the 1 time quasi high cost of 29-40 bucks depending on which turbo nozzle you buy from which store/site. Standard tips maybe roughly 10% less effective on low end for caked on crazy mud/dirt/grime on windows/tires-wheels/rocker panels/fender wells etc... Turbo nozzle being 100%-150% more effective on Brick/Concrete/Asphalt /Vinyl siding etc.
LOL, I never bought into the designer detailing products, always use the many commercial industrial lines available, which most of the designer lines are formulated after..
He's that close with a green tip? So 25 degree tip that close, yeahhh idk if i believe the whole thing he's saying. Maybe if he got that w/ a 40 degree tip i'd agree. But there's no way i'm using a 25 degree that close to my car and not expecting it to take shit off.
Thanks for the videos! I used Dark Fury, mixed at 10:1 to clean the black residue of the hood of a silver car. Worked amazing! I also used it to get tar off of the rocker panels. All I had to use was my pressure washer to blast it off! It also did a great job of removing the black carbon on the chrome exhaust tips, with scrubbing. Everything I did I only used a 30 second dwell time.
99% of my detailing arsenal is superior products and I must say for the price, the concentrated levels, and the cleaning ability of their products is truly amazing
@wilsonautodetailing Luke I have been a fan of yours for years you have shown me a lot and everything you shown works for me and I would like to reach out to you luke
Dark fury is amazing! At 4:1 it will easily handle dirty wheels and tires and doubles as a great bug cleaner for the windshield, grill and mirrors. It also works well when used as a apc rinse, but I prefer to use super clean at 10:1 since it's more cost effective
I’ll definitely be trying out some of these products, but most of them seem like aggressive cleaners great for first or one-time clients and not for maintenance washes. Is that accurate, or are any of these safe to use on ceramic coatings?
Question. When you put the Dark Fury in the foam cannon, did you also put soap in it at the same time? I've never used it before, so I didn't know if it was the Dark Fury that was foaming out of the cannon. Thanks.
Ive seen two of your videos where you use the spray wax at different times. One where you use it over the soap before you rinse, the other after you rinse the soap? Which one is the better way to use it?
I love your videos, I have used a brush head on a pole for washing vehicles all my life, is it bad to use them? Don't see anyone using them much. Thanks
Love superior products been using them for sometime ! They are my go to everyday Dark Fury is fantastic use it for tires wheels , door jams ,bugs and for road film 4:1 is what I like . And I found its better to wet the surface first and not use foamer just spray on less streaking on painted surfaces! Just started mixing 5gal containers for most their chemicals for even more cost savings !
Superior products has a lot of good stuff but im unsure if I should be using dark fury, road warrior or dirt buster as a pre wash. Especially in the summer heat. I also dont know the difference between cherry foam and dirt buster. Which one has more lubricity?
Your recommendations are always spot on and more economical for us average people lol. Just picked up the road warrior to use a pre wash and damn, it's great and the cost is perfect for maintaining our vehicles at home. Thanks man
I've swapped out my normal wheel cleaner for dark fury months ago and glad I did it. I dilute to 4:1 and use it as wheel cleaner, road grime cleaner and bug cleaner.
3:03 - a 10:1 or 15:1 IS NOT a heavy dilution, sorry extremely heavily dilution !!! First part is WATER and the second part is THE PRODUCT, isn't it ? 4:1 is a heavy dilution as in 400 ml of water and 100 ml of product. I use my foam in a 3:1 dilution to make it stick to the car for 5-10 min.
Love Dark Fury. Have been using it in a 32oz. spray bottle diluted 5:1 or 6:1 with no issues. Use it for tires, wheels, bugs. Also use it on lower rocker panels with great success.
Thank you! I am a home detailer. I only clean my cars and I have used what was advertised for us. Seeing these Superior products, I will be ordering these.
Really? If you have a local o Reilly they could ship in 5 gallon drums ASSUMING they have them in stock at their distribution center (worth asking the manager)
Dark Fury and all of Superior Products are excellent. With that said, be very careful with Dark Fury on black plastic trim. I use the reccommended 4:1 dilution ratio. Don't let it dwell too long or you'll have slight discoloration and blotchy areas. I use it to clean and prep black plastic trim to remove any previous dressing before I restore or coat the trim but if you aren't doing that, use caution. I use Dark Fury every day and love it and highly reccommend it - just be careful on that black plastic. Also a very good bug remover- just spray, wait a minute and rinse bug guts off - with no contact with a wash mitt.
Can you use Dark Fury on GM black painted wheels without damage? I would love to use this for bugs on front end but with all the gloss black paint and plastic trim it makes me nervous. Thanks
You been listening to a lot of Reel Big Fish lately Mr Wilson didn't you ha. Well I know you can't work in fast food all your life But don't sign that paper tonight She said "But it's too late" Then, I don't remember what I read I don't remember what they said I guess it doesn't matter Guess it doesn't matter anymore 'Cause you're gonna go to the record store You're gonna give 'em all your money Radio plays what they want you to hear They tell me it's cool, I just don't believe it Sell out, with me, oh yea Sell out, with me tonight The record company's gonna give me lots of money and Everything's gonna be alright No more flipping burgers putting on my silly hat, you know I don't want that no more And I didn't ask when we'd get paid I quit my day job anyway I guess it doesn't matter Guess it doesn't matter anymore 'Cause you're gonna go to the record store You're gonna give 'em all your money Radio plays what they want you to hear Tell me it's cool, I just don't believe it Sell out, with me, oh yea Sell out with me tonight The record company's gonna give me lots of money And everything's gonna be And I don't think it'll be so bad And I know it won't be so bad 'Cause the man said "That's the way it is" And the man said "It don't get better than this" No, no, no So I signed on to the record company They say they're gonna give me lot's of money If I play what they want you to hear Tell me it's cool, and I'll sure believe it Sell out, with me, oh yea Sell out with me tonight The record company's gonna give me lots of money And everything's gonna be alright Yeah, yeah yeah, yeah yeah The record company's gonna make everything alright "Baby, don't you sign that paper tonight" she said "But I can't work in fast food all my life"
Is this safe in direct sunlight??...I'm looking for products that I can use outside unfortunately I don't have a covered parking space to wash my cars...
The 10:1 dilution is what you fill the foam cannon with, so the actual dilution applied to the car with the foam cannon is more like 20:1 (depending on pressure washer/foam cannon), correct?
Zero financial reasons to use anything but Superior Products for ANY cleaning job. Cars, around the house, home exteriors, you name it. Save thousands and have more storage space after using up your old stash of specialized cleaners.
