I set down with Courtney Enders for an interview for a little behind the scenes with me. This is a content series for the upcoming $250,000 PRO Superstar Shootout at Bradenton Motorsports Park.
What an amazing ,humble, caring, compassionate man. Clay, you do so much for the sport of drag racing with you're video's. The world needs more people like Clay Millican. Great interview.
Dear Mr.Millican, WOW what a kick ass 10 minutes with Courtney Cabernet Enders!! The best interviews aren't interviews at all. They're conversations. You make everyone so comfortable, especially thru the tough parts of the conversation.
As the saying goes, ask and you shall receive! LOL We asked for more doggo and we got it! It was such a treat to see virtually an entire episode devoted to Iggy and Milli, Clay. Cheers!
I once bought a cream puff VW Camper van because they needed a bigger RV to play inside tennis ball fetch with their dogs. I drove it across the US, from Florida to California, did some car camping and general sightseeing, which resulted in great memories. I'm alway impressed with mr. Millican's attitude.
Most of us already know and love Clay so for me this was an opportunity to see a different side of Courtney. Most of the time we see her has the high energy cheerleader for Erica, who pumps up and loves on her sister, which is great! But, it was nice to see a new and softer side of her. You can tell that she truly cares for Clay and his family.
Great interview! I love his and Donna's beautiful Crib! And Clay is a pure wonderful soul! I love how much he and everyone loves his four legged children and how he feels like all his crew members are his kids. His wife Donna is also a very special and wonderful soul who has helped guide him on his journey. It's no wonder that everyone loves Clay. Sending a big ehug to the PEOPLES champion!
Been to a bunch of races and met a bunch of drivers… pound for pound you’ll never meet anybody batter than Clay Millican … I’ve got 2 boys and I couldn’t fathom loosing 1 of them … your positivity has helps more people than you ever know brotha !!!
First of all I'd like to say how much Clay is just a down to earth absolute gentleman. The last time I saw Clay in Bradenton was back in 1997 during testing and I had a chance to stand on the starting line and it was the most awesome and amazing experience EVER!! Can't wait to see you back and leave with the win as well as money and bragging rights!!🏆🔥👏👊💪👍💙💯
Wow that was great, nice to learn about your life off the track as she is a great interviewer. The mutual respect between the two of you is quite evident and we need more of this content! Thanks Courtney and Clay🇨🇦
What a great interview, Clay you are such a humble, down to earth, compassionate soul. Losing a child always stays with you, just under the surface but always there. Looking forward to seeing where this year takes the team, Donna and yourself.
Another great video Clay proving why you are the most popular driver in NHRA and it shows because wherever you go and you're live streaming, every person is truly happy to see you and you can see the sheer JOY in their faces when you show up at whatever event💞🤗💞🌟🌟🙏🙏🏆🏆🏆 GOD'S LIGHT SHINES BRIGHTLY OUTWARD FROM YOU FOR THE WORLD TO SEE 🙏💞🤗💞🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟😇 YOU AND MRS. DONNA AND YOUR TEAM FAMILY ARE ALL SUPER AMAZING!! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK AND LET'S WIN LOT'S OF WALLY'S IN 2024. YOU'RE THE SWEETEST KINDEST PERSON EVER AS IS MRS. DONNA AND YOUR PRECIOUS TEAM FAMILY!!!
Damn it I should not have watched this this morning. You might not cry but every time you bring up Dalton it brings a tear to my eye. I'm glad you made the decision to go racing full-time I have been a fan since your ihra days
I can't say much more than what's already been said. I have followed your career since you started, I have a lot of respect for you, My hopes someday are past could cross, I wish you and Donna and the team all the luck in 2024. God bless.
Clay you are genuinely a good man. Be proud in who you are and what you mean to those of us that you let into your life throughout the year. I have come to appreciate the drag series much more because of you. Gonna stink not having Kaylynn around this year as she sure knew her stuff.
Clay, I have been a fan of yours for many years, but I have truly come to love you, as a "best friend" that I have never met! You sir, are an inspiration... truly! Your testimony, the example that you live each and every day... is absolutely like none other... if there were a world full of Clay Millicans, there would be no issues abroad. Thank you for letting us into your world. Brother, you are one of a kind, and I am so thankful for your positivity. For me, it reminds me of life's struggles are just a speed bump, slow down for it, get through it, and stomp that loud pedal again! God Bless you and your family!
What a wonderful interview mate you inspire a lot of people and also bring people back up when things are down. Your videos are therepy for me mate. All the very best at the all-star shootout and the season. Cheers from Australia
I have become more of a fan of drag racing because of your videos! Having met you at Maple Grove and watching the way y’all work together makes it so obvious that you are a big family! Keep up the awesome content on and off the track!❤
Well, I knew I liked Clay just from the first few videos, but now I know he has his priorities in the right place. I also love American and ENGLISH bull terriers having had a Stafforshire Bull TERRIER for 14 years. They are the BEST.
Very Nice Video,Thank You For Sharing !!! Clay,You Are In The Eddie Ercie Hill Territory For Your PR Skills ,Didn’t Matter If They Wrecked The Car Or Won The Championship,Always Positive !!! ,I’m Ready For That Loud Pedal !!! Try To Wave Your Arms Off At The Fans After A Run ,Bad Or Good,You’ll Gain Many Followers Like That
I'm going to be 2 1/2 hours away during that event, but at a different event. . . AAAAAAAAARGH!!!!! Clay is awesome and Courtney did a great interview! STOMP ON THAT LOUD PEDAL!!!!!!!
I have said it before and will again, your a special man. Great interview and the best ambassador of the great sport of the nhra. Thank you, your an inspiration.
Everyone has said what I would say. I am in Bradenton until May and can't wait to see you race again. I was at Bandimere last year standing up screaming when you and your team won. Do it some more this year!!!!
I'm currently making plans to either attend Thursday or Friday at this event. I love the video, and of course, the doggies. Hopefully, the 2024 season will be a great year for you, Clay!
You did well as usual Clay. I'm gonna say You and Tony Stewart are at the top of being most consistent on camera. People tend to like feeling that "what you see is what you get " and follow the folks that can do that. "Shake n Bake " is a good example of that, its not for everyone but it works because people feel its genuine. Clay still number one in motor sports /drag racing for that very reason imho. Blessings all . Clay- I really believe this is going to be your teams year, just a gut feeling. Only concern is clutch - new member fitting in/communication etc , other than that, i think everything gelled last year , team knows it can overcome most setbacks etc. We did really well with a whole new rig last year and didnt get a real t&t until after mid season, learned more than ever by having to push and study data harder - i think we will do well this year. I think last year built the foundation for a Millican Dynasty!
God has a plan for all of us. With all I have been through in my 66 years, 2 divorces, several times as a commercial electrician getting lit up like a Christmas tree by idiots on the job, the loss of my son Mark a day before his 26th birthday, really bad motorcycle accident in `81, my parents passing,2 months apart in `99 trying to drink myself into oblivion....still here and I know why. My Grandson Theo ,whos "dad" took off on my baby girl, 25 now, I have had little man`s six since he was born 7 1/2 years ago. Theo is my reason for still walking the Earth. God Bless your family Clay, you are my ambassador to the NHRA. Can`t wait to see you STOMP on that loud pedal this season. Thank you so much for taking us along for the ride, I know I really appreciate that. Stay safe all, God Bless.
If you haven't had the chance to say "Hi" to Clay in person, next time you're at the track and the opportunity presents itself, please do so. He's one of those people who makes you feel like you're important to him even if he may not have the time at the moment. He REALLY knows how to treat people. God bless him. He's a wonderful person.
Clay you are the best person I know in drag racing , good luck on the 2024 season and I hope I get to see you at Norwalk or reading because I would love to meet my favorite top fuel driver
A great attitude will take you further in life than talent, but when you have both they call you Clay Millican. Clay is my dose of feel good on RU-vid and my inspiration to be a better man.
Great vid. Courtney will be on the Steve Jackson Racing you tube channel tomorrow live at 4:30 Pacifc time 7:30 Eastern time with racer/pro mod driver Lyle Barnett. If You dont know who Steve Jackson is,he's a multi time Pro Mod champion and one funny m f er. Cleetus Mcfarland is supposed to be on Tuesdays show. Check it out y'all. Hope to see you Clay commenting in the live feed tomorrow!
What i wouldnt give to be able to make the Shootout! Im at the other tip of the country in Maine, would be amazing though! Courtney is frigging amazing, love that girl!❤❤❤
Great video Courtney, it's great to see a different side of someone's life. Clay, you said that Dalton was your youngest son, I don't recall ever hearing about your other son, maybe a video with him? Not trying to get to personal, maybe there is a reason why we haven't seen him. Clay, I watch every video that you share, I even have your T Shirts here in Australia. I'm going to the Top Fuel meet in Sydney for the Australia day weekend 26th January, do you know if Jim O will be with the Reed Top Fuel team for that meeting? Would love to meet him, maybe he could sign my shirt 😂😂😂 Thanks for sharing, Courtney does a wonderful job interviewing. Take care. 🦘
I wouldn't be a Spuds Mackenzie or a Target for the pups, I would be more of a "Blue" as I am Canadian and every old Canadian will know exactly who I am talking about. In Canada there is a man who always had a Bull Terrier named "Blue" and he was white but without the eye patches. Great video Clay
