$30 Spectrometer Proves Blue Light Glasses are a Scam 

Sorry about the crappy video quality. Wanted to document a quick experiment I did on blue light glasses.
I’m surprised at the severe lack of documentation about blue light glasses. For a product that claims to help with “blue light”, I can’t find a single spectrometer reading for a single brand of glasses. So, I decided to try making one myself. From this crappy experiment, I could only see a 1% decrease or so in optical power with the lens of the glasses RIGHT UP to the source. In reality, the lens wouldn’t cover all light going to your eye, so this 1% is an over-estimate.
