I love watching pros, truly inspiring. Just an amateur woodworker (for 23 years) forced to do my own remodeling and design and build because I couldn't afford hiring guys of your caliber. Just wish walk-ions paid as much attention to their food as you guys did to their countertop!

Wow that wood looks incredible. I’m prepping for my biggest solid walnut slab project ever in about a month (hoping the wood is dry enough by then Eek). Raw edge one side, straight on bartender side. Drove 2,000 miles to hand pick up 4 25-32” x 14’8 slabs for a big bar top. Hopefully I don’t shit the bed on this one. It’s stressing me the hell out. Also doing epoxy pour. I’ve done a couple before never this big though.

@@TNTINDUSTRIESLLC yeah I definitely am going to, thanks. Actually watching videos of it before I saw this comment. My biggest concern is getting the MC of the slabs down to the EMC of this area (or close to it) in time. Currently they’re sitting in a climate controlled environment with plenty of airflow and heat (72F 40% RH ) but they’re sitting anywhere from 11-14% and the EMC for my area is around 6-11% depending on the time of the year. I figured I could get em to 9-10% max and it’ll be close enough and will minimize movement after install but I’m shittin bricks worried about getting that 4% in time for working on them in a month.

Awesome job! It turned out incredible. What was the spray bottle for during the pour?

Thank you brother! We used denatured alcohol to get rid of the surface bubbles over the giant surface. Works like a charm, but now we use acetone because it’s a lot cleaner and better for epoxy.

Hi... Why "never scrapping the sides"..? (6:54)
@TNTINDUSTRIESLLC
@TNTINDUSTRIESLLC 11 месяцев назад
Because the sides carry unmixed solution. That means that you could potentially just have 1 part of the mixture pour out on the final finish. Which would equal a failure later down the line.
