Hi There, is it possible to do this in Australia or do I have to be in the USA to do CPA, we don't have the 1031 exchange in Australia so it also makes it difficult to roll profit into another deal ?

Inspiring video. Ive been doing residential real estate for quite sometime and doing it successfully. What are the benefits of commerical over residential as long as your ROI is the same? I can also tell you that doing a 1031 isn't a joke. Its very hard to find a larger and lucrative deal in the short window of time. Only a few people I know have done ti successfully.
Our legal team is evaluating the parameters of the Prohibition on the Purchase of Residential Property by Non-Canadians Act right now. It appears that it won't impact us since the deals we work on may not fit within that Act's definition of "residential property" but it is still concerning to put our energy into a country that puts laws in place stopping foreigners from owning certain forms of real property.
