combiner wars blastoff is compatible with this set. all you need is some decepticon stickers..i saw this on amazon for $55 and defensor for about the same price. im thinking about getting it. i recently got the weijiang 3rd party devastator. its not bad at all.
The Devastator is insane. The combined mode is shaky as hell and barely posable, but he's HUGE! I mean, the quality is dubious on these third party knockoffs, but who cares. Thanks for watching!
It's much the same as the legit model. It's not brittle or cheap feeling at all. In fact, in some cases, like the KO Superion I bought, the are so well made I thought some of them had metal parts. That sucks. The quality of any KO bootleg fig is hit and miss. My Protectobots are made out of really cheap plastic, so transforming them has to be done delicately. It's always a risk, but sometimes, for the money, it's worth a shot. Thanks!
Sooo is this the one that said kubian cool become brave? If so you you should review the superion one, the defensor one, and the volcanicus one. Its just a suggestion
Yeah... I might cave and pick up the KO Bruticus and Superion. The Hasbro limb bots from Combiner Wars go for $65-70 each now, but $45 plus a sheet of toyhax decepticon logos does the trick for me.
Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I've been moving. But yeah. These are solid figure sets. I have Superion as well and I was convinced that some of the figs had diecast on them as they are so heavy and sturdy. The toyhax or aftermarket stickers won't work on these though as the molds are slightly different. But other than that, spend the cash and grab them! Thanks!

Are the posts and holes on these 5mm like on regular Hasbro toys? In other words, could I add battle Masters, use weaponisers and so on with these, or has the scale changed?
The mold seems to be exactly the same scale as the Hasbro release with just minor changes in detailing. I don't see why you couldn't use legit Hasbro accessories with this big boi. Yeah I mean, if troop building's your game (which is definitely mine) then these things are great. Obviously not the best, but the most I've heard from them is a loose joint here or there and maybe a small paint mishap. I can deal with that for $45 (and that leaves some money for those $15 hand and feet upgrade kits, which is another bonus).
I mean, like any of the combiners he's a little wobbly, but he's in no danger of falling apart. I've done some pretty dynamic poses and he's not bad for $50. You really can't go wrong. Great video! Anyone know if there's going to be a knock off of Menasor? They have Bruticus (my fav), Superion and Defensor, but for whatever reason no Menasor.
I haven't seen any knockoff Menasor yet. He was one combiner I had to get as a legit version. I'll probably end up getting Superion and Defensor as well, but I'm concentrating on Decepticons, so they will have to wait! Thanks for watching! You can get them from ebay. Just type in BRUTICUS and if you scroll enough you will find them. They usually are pretty cheap at about $50. It's a pretty good deal. Thanks!

I think I got it from Aliexpress but they have them on eBay as well for about $40-50. Really good set. I have Superion and Defensor as well. I totally recommend these figs.
@@killerqueenbitesthedust1503 It takes a while before it leaves China, and the tracking sometimes doesn't follow it all the way. My Superion tracking said it never actually arrived in Canada, yet it arrived on time.
Yeah, I'm sure a knockoff BRUTICUS from aliexpress barely counts as a kids toy. And I've never made family friendly content. I've been on here making content since 2006 and I think the first word I said in my first vid was "fuck". Deal with it.
Cause they aren't kid toys. Just because they are plastic and Transformers, there are ones for kids and ones for collectors. Two very very different things. KO's are legit aimed at collectors trying to prey on their FOMO. Today collector mostly MP collectors seek out 3rd party and KO. Hell, on eBay some of these very figures are selling for 35.00+ by themselves. The KO's!!!

Hey. I agree. I'm chap and not going to spend $250 on an original if I can get a good one for $50. If people are saying anything bad about the knockoff, they are just mad and jealous.
Don't worry about others. Are you collecting for you or to impress the thousands who will never even see your collection. 99.99% of mine are real. Every so often I will by a KO because I just want the character. Don't care what company logo on the plastic. Hell, most MP collectors buy 3rd party and Ko's to complete their G1 accurate collection. They are ALL GOOD in the end. They filling and complete people's personal collections.
