My husband loves top dollar and wins quite a bit on the $5.00 machines. He's hit 5,000 and 10,000 and many other smaller hand pays. We get to Vegas twice a year and probably good we don't go more⚠️ How fun to have one at home.

Having your own slot machine is awesome, you can have just as much fun without having to gamble real money. I have a Japanese style machine (aka Pachislo) and I love it.
Love the content especially the tech side. Funny that the regular top dollar has the music from the Deluxe top dollar. That always throw me off. I run into that occasionally at the casino. I guess that can be an audio option In the programming on any of the top dollars?
The haters on this video don't have even one active brain cell in total amongst them. This is a HOME slot channel, not an actual casino slot play channel. It's even in his channel name, for Pete's freakin' sake! This man purchases slot machines for fun, fixing some of them for private resale. (Some he keeps for himself.) He *has* to play them, if nothing else but to test the repairs, and he films his play sessions so that others may be entertained. If you don't happen to like what you see, close out the video! No one is forcing you to watch. You have free will to leave at any time.

Dippin doesn't play the vast majority of days in a month, he claims the casino has to balance the books and most likely they took in too much for the month and must return any overage, the corporation board of governors don't like overages, they want perfectly balanced books. they have to return the overage, they do it in a very small window, playing the big window will kill you. Find the small window.
One thing I learned from the video is that the risk/reward ratio is slightly better for home slots than casino slots. At home the ratio is 0/0. At the casino the ratio is somewhere around 100/93. BUT the fun factor is definitely on the side of the casino slots.

You can get them for as low as $350 for the basic IGT series. A lot of people ask for way too much for these things, you can get them to come down. However, some of the specialty ones (like the double top dollar) still go for $2500+

@@HomeSlots The irony in that statement lol. Texas dont allow casinos and such. However, there is also no law on private ownership of slot machines. Louisiana has casinos. On the flip side, privately owned machines must be 25 years old.

I'm curious to know. What do you have the pay out volatility set at? All those spins and besides cherries and 2 bonuses, only 1 line hit. Also, where do you get a machine like that, or something similar. I'd love to get my hands on one just for fun play.
Kevin Whorpole This was actually set at 95.7% payback, which is pretty high. The chip that was in there when I first got this was set to 88.1% (from a casino). The Top Dollar themed slots are very hard to come by and as such, they go for $2,000+. However, you can get others for around $500.

Kevin Whorpole It was pretty tough when I got it, but the availability of parts makes it really easy to fix and restore. There is also a great forum (New Life Games) with a bunch of great folks helping each other out. Search my channel where I have a video showing how it all works.
Why do people play the Wheel of Fortune or Megabucks (or Quartermania, back in the day) machines? The allure of the big jackpot, that's why. I'll stick with my Double Red White & Blue nickel progressive, thanks.
If your State allows it, perhaps you could get a "Top Dollar Premium" machine. In that game, the bonus gives you 5 offers...and you keep 2 of your choice! I haven't seen anything higher than a $25 denomination, but the line-hits include amazing multipliers!

Jacob Ebsen Thanks for watching! First, want to make sure you knew this is my home machine. To answer your questions: 1) I can change the payback percentage but it requires a chip swap and regardless, the payback percentages are over the turn of millions of spins. 2) I can say with 100% certainty that the players card makes no difference on the output of the spin. They are two completely different systems and the slot machines are designed to prevent any kind of interaction between the two in regards to spin outcome.

@@jacobebsen1 I can only speak for the older machines, but that is pretty much impossible unless the gaming commission is there to test and seal the new chip. I'll have an upcoming video showing what it takes to mess with it - its quite the process.
