I use the 3 spin method. If I get 3 blank spins -meaning I don't get at least half my bet back I move on to either another bet size or different denomination. I learned this technique from jackpot famous and it works for me. This helps preserve your bankroll long..so far I'm up 20k this year

I do play the five spin method sporadically. On certain games in high limit. Pinball, $75/spin, Top Dollar, $50/spin, and Wheel of Fortune, $100/spin. I can’t afford to sit at these machines for an extended period so I try 5. So if I lose, I’m not broke and if I win, it is usually a hand pay. I enjoyed today’s video and know now not to use that method EVERY time!! Cheers.

Yeah I’ve heard people tell me to do this also. Mostly people who aren’t willing to put their own money up to try it. I’ve had the most luck just picking a machine and playing a set amount on each machine like 200 per machine and then move to another. Love the channel and your sense of humor!!

I was the first to develop the 5 spin method back in 1997. It originated from an ancient Amish technique used to determine peak seed sporing RNG on crops. I learned from when I had them come out in the freezing rain to do the siding job on my split level victorian. Now that this technique is world wide and has been bamboozling casino pit bosses for the past 40 years.

I’ve noticed that at the Vegas local casinos the high limit rooms don’t pay out as much as the strip properties. I typically play Pinball in the high limit room of Park MGM after every VGK game. Most of the time I can get a pinball hit within the first 5 to 10 spins. Have you noticed anything different from resorts world and the Wynn versus the M and station casinos? Good stuff as always man! Maybe one day we’ll run into each other in high limit!

I was really pulling for you and was probably going to try this myself. Although, it's a little frustrating because some of those machines were enticing and I would've had a hard time giving up on them so soon. Either Way, it was fun to watch. You'll get your money back.

I like the concept of moving aropund to different machines. My preference is to find a bank of Dragon Link or Wheel of Fortune machines and I play each one for not just 5 spins but until I get the bonus. My max spins per machine is 10 and if I dont hit the bonus then I move on to the next one. I do pretty well with this pattern of play. Hope you try it in one of your videos! Best luck to you all!

Glad you tried the 5 hit method. I’ve tried that before, only difference is i played max denomination, with max bet. Turned $5k into $12k. It was a little stressful until first machine hit. The point of the 5 spin method to increase your odds of hitting. Doesn’t mean if you don’t hit on the first 5-10 machines that it is not working.

This was an awesome video! I've always questioned the validity of a five-spin method. If it ever was valid, it makes sense that casinos would employ a countermeasure. Maybe try an approach (like a 10 spin method) based on that theory.

I also tried the 5 spin method 15 different $1 / $5 and $10 machines on the Mississippi Coast, I got the bonus one time, and line hits on 9. These were all old school one line 3 reel machines. I then tried on the new machines, one line hit on 15 machines. I'll stick to old school machines if at all possible. As far as the 5 spin method, like the rest of gaming "Luck".

I think the 5 spin used to work fairly well when slots still used coins. I used to always do 4-6 spins . Always worked. My thinking……..if a machine pays over 90% it will pay in first 5 or so spins.. Not so much on all these new machines.

Hey Mike, just subscribed. I like the 10 spin method but with a catch.... I go to a higher denom and I bet the highest amount that my bank roll will allow for that night. I watch my credit line and if the machine is letting me play, then I will play longer. If I see multiple premium symbols dropping, I may even play longer than that depending on how often they are showing up. If I ever hit 10 times my bet, I cash out and go to another machine. I have seen machines hit again after that, but it's like seeing a unicorn and more often than not, it takes back my winnings.

I think the 5 spin method isn’t horrible, I have always understood it as a means of not going too overboard with any 1 machine. I’ve had a lot better luck with playing a few slots, and bouncing back and forth between a couple of them to see if I get lucky with a payout between the few I hover around 🤣

The guy that came up with the 5 spin method said something like; the method is used to figure out what slot machines you like if you've never played them before. He does it a little different though. He says to leave the machine before 5 spins if you win anything which doesn't make much cents to me. So on the first spin you win 50 cents he says to walk away, which doesn't really tell you anything about the machine except that it can pay you 50 cents. I like the $40 dollar method, where you put $40 in a machine if you get a good line hit or bonus walk away or walk on to the next machine if you lose the $40.
