Lmao it’s like a play on words since it’s fried chicken and he usually say “justified!”. Makes you appreciate the small details after multiple viewings.
I know right. Here in Jacksonville Florida I get coupon in mail once a month and I always clip the Popeyes 2 piece 1 side and biscuit deal for $5.99. You can choose any 2 pieces and get it spicy or regular. Normally it would be $9.99.
I watch your videos all the time and never left a comment before. I just felt the need to finally tell you that I enjoy your content. I also appreciate the hard work you put in towards your channel. 👍🏻
Grocery store fried chicken crushes any fast food fried chicken on value. Maybe we put Nashville hot chicken in another category. I will never eat at Popeyes or KFC again. The prices are insulting. They hate us. The grocery store chicken is 90% as good at < half the price.
Not a fair PRICE COMPARISON. Those $5 chicken are Wednesday and Friday ONLY at Ralph's and Vons respectively, while Popeye's price is everyday REGULAR PRICE....C'mon now!
yeah the Ralphs near me does that for thursday. Heck even their hot deli with chicken and sides is a pretty good deal. Ive done half roasted and half fried pieces with sides there for under 10 bucks.
This dude is in Cali where min fast food wage is $20.00 hr PLUS health care. So it costs the company about $50.00 hr to hire someone. Hence, 18.99 for a sub sandwhich 😅
Where on this Earth does Popeye's charge $12.99 for a 2 piece dark meal!?! It's over $5 less here in MI. $7.49. Usually on sale for $6.00 in a big box meal.
The last few times I had Popeyes the chicken was so expensive I got the wings instead ...then I got me thinking. Why is the CHICKEN so expensive but the wings are cheaper than all other wing spots?.....that's duck meat ain't it
Popeye's are crazy for that price - Counterexample? Just checked Korean Gami fried chicken here in Australia - 10 x chicken wings for $15aud - that's exactly $10 bucks for you American folks.
Definitely depends on location. There’s 3 in my city and only one of them is good. You’d think it’s entirely different chicken tbh. The employees seem a lot happier at that one and the owner is often working with them behind the counter so that definitely has a lot to do with it as well. Franchises be like that. The prices are BS though.
Still a little weird that you chose to compare the Ralph's chicken with a combo when you could've compaired it to the chicken alone. Seems like a little bit of sabotage.
