Bayou 220 is a good machine. Bought the wife one new in 1997 and it works great still. We have done very little to ours. Yours has been a victim of much mistreatment. Have a great day!

Perfect, my bayou has the same slack as yours. Great video, will fix mine now.Kawasaki dealer says I need to buy new one. Expensive. Didn’nt buy and now I can fix mine. thank you for the vid.

Been watching a lot of your videos, super helpful! Subbed. I bought a couple bayous. Both are junk atm and probably not worth putting a lot of $ into so trying to fix them on the cheap.

I used to tension my recoil that way till I discovered the little notch in the rope basket is how you do it without removing the rope
